3D Printed Terrain Unboxing Video

Recommended Posts

I am working on a Jedha themed board and got my first order of 3D Printed terrain for it.

Here is the unboxing video...

I have to say that the quality was better than I expected.  It isn't perfect but other than a little sanding, removing a few "cobweb" remnants, and using some filler primer I think I should be able to get to the finish painting faster than I expected.

How much did you pay for that lot?

With Shipping all said and done it was $145 in the US.  That said ETSY is terrible calculating shipping on multiple items.  My suggestion is contact the store owner if your placing a big order and ask them about shipping costs.  I initially paid more but got a refund for the excess shipping charges after the order shipped.

With sites like ETSY I always recommend checking Reviews and contacting the shop owner before ordering.  I also try and find actual pictures of their product.  2 stores could sell the same print at different costs but different print qualities so sometimes the more expensive choice is worth it.

Can’t wait for the tutorial!!!  Awesome job!!!

Speaking of which here are the 2 edited videos.  The first is prep, so Priming Sanding etc.  I realize that isn't super exciting but it is a very important part of the process.  The second video is the Detail and Finishing.
