If the T-85 is released, which there is evidence to suggest it will, should it be Resistance or Rebel?  It was used by the New Republic and not the Rebels or Resistance.  So which faction gets dibs on NRDF ships?  This question would also apply to any Squadrons related content too.

New Republic would likely all skew to Resistance. The Resistance is covertly funded by the New Republic, while the Rebellion has ceased to exist by the time of the New Republic.

As it stands the Resistance as a faction isn't hugely supported by the narrative of the films. Going forward I do not expect that FFG is going to make a new faction based solely on the New Republic, my guess would be they would expand Resistance to incompass that.

There will probably be a little overlap, maybe the first few years after RotJ will provide content for rebels. Star wars squadrons for instance. Everything else should fall into Resistance.

Specifically regarding the T-85 the development of that ship was clearly 2 decades after the rebellion.

Plus technically the Resistance had 2 T-85 that I can account. One being Kaz's and another being one recovered and used during the Battle of Exegol that I heard someone on here mention but I cannot recall the source they got it from.

Sooooo. Do we think that FFG will continue the previews? It would be cool to see what the phoenix/sky strike packs hold especially since their release isnt supposedly that far away.

The most I would expect at the moment would be the official announcement of those packs.  I look forward to being wrong and getting a full preview instead.

I suspect the Clone Wars Armada is next up for previews. At best an announcement article for what's next for X-wing. Depending on what sort of time frame we're looking at for the next releases after what is scheduled for this month.

I agree. I think there's enough of a line to define where ships can go. If we get the T-85, it will be Resistance because even if the Resistance didn't use it, makes more sense there than with Rebels. Likewise anything in the immediate 10 years of Return of the Jedi, such as the Mandalorian, would most likely be Rebel.

It makes no sense to introduce a new faction just for the sake when there are two perfectly viable factions. I mean, if we want to get into the nitty gritty, the N1 shouldn't really be Republic...but it is because it makes the most sense.

Indeed, Armada is most due for their announcements.

But if they want to have some releases during the incoming months (2021), they should begin their next announcements. I don't know when they will announce it if they do not do it in november.

I think the next wave's announcement article for X-Wing will be on the 19th of this month or the 3rd of Dec. The 26th is a national holiday here in the US. That's barring complications from other sectors.

I'm sticking with nothing X-wing wise except related to the upcoming release. Previews only for Armada up until release. After Armada release they clue us in for plans for the new year. 

Best case would be a Life Day present on seventeen November.

As noted Legion is fine. Imperial Assault is over. I just was not sure if Legion was waiting on a what is next as X-wing seems to be and how much they had hanging as it were. I am just worried about the January suspected Armada releases. I sprung for the Clone Wars stuff but that was with confidence there was more coming quickly. This news is a pretty big hit on that confidence.

Legion has stuff for January announced, and the asmodee North America had preorders for expansions without an announcement article yet

What's announced for january ? As what I know, only Anakin and Darth Maul are announced, and will be released in december.

That big announcement explains why there was not a single announcement about the 2021 releases during the last weeks.
