Stronghold2 0 Posted April 22, 2010 What is the actual effect/benefit of the Talent Air of Authority that the Rogue Trader gets at character creation (page 41)? The rulebook (on page 94) and errata do not explain what this Talent does. The description just states whom it will affect and not what the effect(s) are. Air of AuthorityPrerequisites: Fellowship 30The Explorer was born to command, either motivating or terrifying those under his charge. On a successful Command Test, the Explorer may affect a number of targets equal to 1d10 plus his Fellowship Bonus. This Talent has no effect on hostile targets, and only affects NPCs. Cifer 211 Posted April 22, 2010 Um... actually, it does state what it does: When making a Command test (any Command test, such as for inspiring people, ordering them into certain death or whatever), you don't just affect [Fellowship Bonus] people, but [Fellowship Bonus +10] people. Essentially it lets you make "Social Attacks" against a number of targets equal to your Fel bonus + 1d10. This would let you modify a group of npc's dispositions, as indicated by table 10-2 Dispositions on page 293 of the RT core. Hope that's helpful. Dalnor Surloc 1 Posted April 27, 2010 It increases the number of people effect by the command skill.
