The worst coward is the one who point the way to cowardy to others. Coward enough to need support on its miserable life.

you mean the way CLON pointed?

So I think Gnips/Pod/Ovi are part of one team and maybe have a similar PM

How does your party know Matt is expendable?

no one does, which is why I said no vote, like clon? Because no one knows whos expendable and say a Dewback dies that could snowball into a Rancor win just from luck D1..

But seriously dude, you're going to call out people no voting and then call out people voting as well?

Make your mind up pod, either vote no vote or vote for someone but as it's D1 in a not-normal setup your ramblings don't help anyone...

remember up until this point in time your party alignment has remained secret and should you choose to reveal your party you may face dreadful consequences or resounding Success.

seems to push a no vote D1

I’m inclined to either no vote, or vote matt purely for getting me killed last game. But it strikes me that doing so could be the exact same mistake, engendering a never ending cycle of vengeance whose victims extend beyond just those who perpetuate it.

Seriously tho, I’ve been hard thinking about the no vote, but whats interesting to me is that I think the rational individual choice may be to vote someone, even while its possible the best group outcome is a no vote.

With 11 people, I assume we’re split either 6-5, with the numbers balanced by the 5 side getting better roles, or 5-5-1. Of the two, I think its more likely we have a 5-5-1 split, but lets examine all the options.

If its 6-5, , then for the five side its either take the no vote and trust the power roles were heavily swung in our/their favor, but in doing so risk playing a game of catch-up the whole way. If they vote tho, for each individual its more likely than not that they hit someone on the other side.

For the six side, we/they still have decent odds, and fantastic upside. A no vote is also slightly less beneficial, since presumably the game would be balanced by roles.

That said, since the roles would benefit one side so much more than the other, I don’t think clon, as mod, would advocate a no vote. And thats why I’m leaning towards a 5-5-1 split. In which case, everyone who votes is more likely to tag someone they arent affiliated with.

Thoughts?

The day ebon drops his vote on me in favour of bringing on night without conversation.....

Alarm bells anyone?

This is also frankly laughable at best, where do I say I want a to bring night on without conversation and since when is 1 SINGLE VOTE indication of such, I get that maybe L-3/L-2 but you seem to be reaching in a lot of posts, not to mention the casual rolefishing for party names you asked for from Gnips.

You seem to be having a rather odd D1, even for you and your seemingly reluctant attitude towards looking into the setup is also odd... maybe you're not on a team and are one of Clons balancers, or maybe you're just in opposition

I think 5-5-1 or maybe even 4-4-2, 6-5 could snowball too hard I would think

Agree, and while I'm thinking no vote, if I have to I'll vote Pod, he seems to be trying to signal someone with his game but I know it's not me and my team, so I'm content to keep my vote on him.

Do you know that you are on the 5 or 6 person side? Or are you the 1?

I agree with a no kill.  I'd rather do that than potentially randomly killing someone from my team who may also be an important role.

I have changed two words above. Sentiment stays the same.

Arguments are rarely won by conscientious objectors.

I hope you can all see why I post this.

There are two phases of the game. In the dayphase there are those who are with me and those who are against me. The nightphase will hopefully strengthen and clarify the position of those who are with me. This is the same as every mafia game....

Only difference is that there are no universial bad guys. However, some of you are aligned against me by party. I dont know who, you dont know who. This doesnt change that you must choose to be with or against me in the dayphase. This is not binding, you may change your position as much as you like.

As the Right Honourable Member for the constituency of Brown Aviaries originally noted a No Vote proffers advantage in this scenario. I for one welcome the fall of night for I fear not the Opposition Party knowing full well my loyal friends in my party will guard me well - as I will them

Mads - does this mean you think we might flush someone out by means. Of the 5-5-1 split? Or am I getting the wrong end of the stick?

And if I may ask, what does the Right Honourable Member for Insane Quags actually lean towards himself at this time please?

##vote Ginkapo

Has anyone considered the possibility that the 11th role might simply take the faction of the first death?

don't want to kill gink first day back, maybe tomorrow

I mean, maybe at some point but tough on D1. The point was to illustrate that each of us individually have a good odds to hit somone we’re fine with killing, and then to flesh out some possible scenarios to see if the no-vote makes so much sense from a group perspective as to override that.

I don’t really have a bigtime preference atm. We still have time, and I’m still not sure a no-vote isnt the best choice.
