kempokid 868 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) First thought is this First Order list: I'm familiar with the ships and I think has a pretty even split across priority targets. Upsilon-class Shuttle - Starkiller Base Pilot - 70 Starkiller Base Pilot - (56) Perceptive Copilot (10) Advanced Optics (4) TIE/vn Silencer - •“Recoil” - 72 •“Recoil” - Quantity Over Quality (63) Predator (2) Proton Rockets (7) TIE/sf Fighter - •“Quickdraw” - 57 •“Quickdraw” - Defiant Duelist (45) Fanatical (2) Special Forces Gunner (10) Total: 199/200View in the X-Wing Squad Builder However, I was also thinking about something a little more simplistic with a rebel build: T-65 X-wing - •Edrio Two Tubes - 52 •Edrio Two Tubes - Cavern Angels Veteran (45) •R5-D8 (7) Servomotor S-foils (Open) (0) UT-60D U-wing - •Benthic Two Tubes - 65 •Benthic Two Tubes - Cavern Angels Marksman (47) Advanced Sensors (8) Perceptive Copilot (10) Pivot Wing (Open) (0) T-65 X-wing - Blue Squadron Escort - 41 Blue Squadron Escort - (41) Servomotor S-foils (Open) (0) T-65 X-wing - Blue Squadron Escort - 41 Blue Squadron Escort - (41) Servomotor S-foils (Open) (0) Total: 199/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder Edited January 21, 2019 by kempokid

This would my my Scum list for Hyperspace: Fang Fighter - •Old Teroch - 59 •Old Teroch - Mandalorian Mentor (56) Fearless (3) Fang Fighter - •Fenn Rau - 71 •Fenn Rau - Skull Leader (68) Fearless (3) Customized YT-1300 Light Freighter - •Lando Calrissian - 56 •Lando Calrissian - Smooth-talking Gambler (49) Trick Shot (1) •Lando’s Millennium Falcon (6) Escape Craft - •Autopilot Drone - 12 •Autopilot Drone - Set to Blow (12) Total: 198/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder
Greebwahn 924 Posted January 21, 2019 I'd go FO, but lose the Prockets for, at least, FCS on QD

Could be a difference maker. But yeah I guess QD needs that reroll to make the most of the ability. 1 Greebwahn reacted to this
wurms 5,044 Posted January 21, 2019 (edited) Scum is nice, but needs careful flying. Maybe a bit larger bid so Fenn can move after Poe's and Hans. Maybe drop fearless for crackshot or predator on the fangs to try and get around a 5-6pt bid. The FO is cool, but I would really try and get Tavson in that squad. He moves and focuses, and if the enemy fires at him, he can coordinate a boost to recoil to line up that procket attack on high init ships or else just take a lock on a ship in his arc and blow him away. Something like: “Quickdraw” (45)Fanatical (2)Special Forces Gunner (10)Fire-Control System (3) “Recoil” (63)Predator (2)Proton Rockets (7) Lieutenant Tavson (62)Collision Detector or Phasma (5) Total: 199 Edited January 21, 2019 by wurms

It plays a much different role compared to the low I2 brawler that perco/adv sensors base pilot. And Tavson benefits the squad even when the ship doesn’t fire. On the generic, it just absorbs damage and not much else. This is probably what I’ll end up going with.
TIE wing 26 Posted January 21, 2019 Maybe you might use 2 TIE silencers? I versed someone with TIE Silencers. They were really good.

I only have a single one in my collection right now so I usually make due with one of the named pilots, an Upsilon, and either an SF or FO to round out the squad. I made a few mistakes and it could be a match up issue but I just couldn’t do enough damage to take those ships out. In the first engagement I zipped the Silencer into R1 of Horton and laid 4 hits on him. They ignored the Upsilon for as long as possible, which I didn’t anticipate. In the second engagement I screwed up with QD and got her into all 4 of his ships’ arcs so she went down in one round. Tavson kinda forces you to keep your unit together so he can pass actions around. I was thinking about changing up some upgrades so Tavson can be more dynamic: TIE/sf Fighter - •“Quickdraw” - 59 •“Quickdraw” - Defiant Duelist (45) Trick Shot (1) Fire-Control System (3) Special Forces Gunner (10) Upsilon-class Shuttle - •Lieutenant Tavson - 76 •Lieutenant Tavson - Obedient Shuttle Pilot (62) Collision Detector (5) •Petty Officer Thanisson (4) •Captain Phasma (5) TIE/vn Silencer - •“Recoil” - 65 •“Recoil” - Quantity Over Quality (63) Predator (2) Total: 200/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder
kempokid 868 Posted January 28, 2019 Scratch my list above. With the new points out, I can fit PerCo/optics on Tavson. Upsilon-class Shuttle - •Lieutenant Tavson - 80 •Lieutenant Tavson - Obedient Shuttle Pilot (62) Collision Detector (6) Perceptive Copilot (8) Advanced Optics (4) TIE/vn Silencer - •“Recoil” - 61 •“Recoil” - Quantity Over Quality (59) Predator (2) TIE/sf Fighter - •“Quickdraw” - 59 •“Quickdraw” - Defiant Duelist (45) Trick Shot (2) Fire-Control System (2) Special Forces Gunner (10) Total: 200/200 View in the X-Wing Squad Builder
