I might be barking up the wrong tree though. You make a point of ending out of optimal range of the Bail ship on your Pryce turn, then they're forced to come to you. Or force them into range just before your Pryce turn, and you still shoot first. Eat your heart out, Han Solo. Luckily Boosted Comms is better on the Quasar anyway; even with two Lambdas, you're going to potentially be chucking things pretty far with Squall. The month of March will be squad-free to prove a point, but after that... it's shuttle time.
