I found it pretty enjoyable but there is no pleasing the outrage merchants, and I find the anti-SJW crowd is worse and more snowflakey/emotion driven than what they originally thought to oppose.

don't knock it till you try it, stop trying to read politics into cartoons, you'd be happier.

I wish but I think almost all media gets tainted by politics/ideology in one form another these days. I know its difficult to tell any story without some form of idealogy but these days it seems to have all the subtly of a locomotive.

so you decided to say something is a garbage fire based on the opinions of people that do not like the redesign/are opposed to anything remotely gay because they are insecure. and decided that would be your opinion to express rather than saying for example "I have not seen it so I have no opinion" or asking if it is enjoyable/any good or if you want to be more coy "as people say" ???

I watched a few episodes on Netflix - not sure whether I enjoyed it or not. I doubt I would watch more. But it’s fine I guess? Not my thing.

apparently they are also siblings, idk there is no he man yet and I never watched the originals.

No I decided to simply state the opinion of a reviewer whose opinion I trust because I have to be somewhat discerning with what entertainment I choose to consume in my spare time.

Do you have "mind reader" on the skills section of your resume? Because you sound like one there. Well actually it just sounds like you're making baseless accusations to discredit the holder of an opinion contrary to your own. IMO the show is just another shameless attempt at a reboot with the only new thing being "more diversity", I'll just add it to the flaming garbage pile that includes the Ghostbusters and Ocean's 8 reboots.

On another interesting note. The audience reviews for the show on Rotten Tomatoes appear to be getting bumped up by fake accounts that just leave a 5 star review. But when you go to the profile of the reviewer, the only show/movie they've ever reviewed is She-Ra, nothing else. The same can't be said for the luke warm or negative reviews of the show. Just speculation, but its almost like the show needs fake reviews to avoid looking like a total flop. Get Woke Go Broke.

also you should never trust reviewers, or tomatoes, tomatoes will betray you, ever bite into a cherry tomato and have it spray everywhere?

Was it really something that needed to be said though?

All that really does is inject negativity into something someone enjoys.  If people made a thread for the Rebels series and someone responded “I hear it’s just a garbage knock-off of Clone Wars,” wouldn’t you think it was unnecessary?
