the scum role FYI goes as such: Fruit must be eaten, eaten fruit blackmails the person stopping them talking all day, and then forges them so If they die they show as scum, the fruit vendor shows as town if killed  hahahahah

I don't know but with what 11 players, that's a max of 22 roles with half not even in the game so still pretty closed.

But as I didn't get the role i submitted I'm warning town because of the danger it poses us

i think we should actually keep the roles secret and when someone claims a role we can have a town person confirm it.

obviously scum could abuse this but for a town to confirm another town this way then they at least will know each other are telling the truth

Hopefully there's a few roles that can give us confirmed town then so we don't have to worry about scum abusing this.  And everyone gave obvious scum and town roles.

Depending on how Pod handed out the roles, it could be like a bad Secret Santa drawing - we could have groups of 2 or 3 with one another's roles.  We could have people who lucked into their own roles - their own Secret Santa if you will.  You could have people who have none of their roles used and people who can confirm 2 of their roles in the game.

My first role was 3rd party, but not inherently anti-town... so no clue if it even got used.  It also had built in mechanics that role claiming it would do bad things to the player in question.

I was asked by Pod before game start IRL to pick a scum role to help him with the balance, as he had 1 less then needed.. I imagine at least a couple other town had the same, as he had 6 roles for scum after mine I gave him mine..

it almost reads as you gave pod a role, a scum role.

I imagine at least a couple more members of town as well sent in scum roles as I *didn't* get the one submitted town or scum. and I know he had 6 scum roles to choose from after he asked for my help designing the 6th, which means 2 other towns sent in scum roles if we assume 3 scum. I'm town and telling the rest of you what info I have incase it's helpful.

also read up buddy, I told you what scum role I gave pod and as I didn't role scum I then told town because it's not a nice role and wanted it myself however as I don't have it, I also ain't getting blackmailed and forged by someone using MY own made up role

This was not what happened for me, I didn't get a affiliation till both roles had been given

So the 3 scum all picked their own hand made roles, OP much? Hence I'm sure 2 other town along with me had to send scum roles, or pod only asked me and got outside input maybe gink for the other two, but as pod said we all choose the roles, I think the former

You make a very good point.  Pod asking someone to give a scum role seems odd, unless they were already scum.
