Dominguez Games 9 Posted November 28, 2018 (edited) I have noticed a lack of community support for the quick build, escalation format. I hope to start discussions about how this format should be run as the core set rule book breifly describes the mechanics, and then only discusses core set quick builds. I was able to play a game of escalation recently and have taken some time to write up what I have come to understand the rules should be if FFG would clearly write them. Something to note: the core set rules state when you escalate, the next ship must be threat level +1 of the destroyed ship. When I re-watched the the team covenant escalation battle with the designer, Alex Davey, at one point Davey would allow his opponent to fly in two TL 1 Tie fighters instead of one TL 2 limited ship. I took this to expand on how one can escalate throughout the game. Please read my file and tell me what you think. UPDATE I realized that the rule book makes more sense than I thought. My original thoughts would not prevent a player from flying a single ship, then flying in all remaining ships after. This new file will have the correct FFG rulings on escalation.
