Battle Damaged Vader

Recommended Posts

Very nicely done, sir.

Though, every time I see this sort of conversion I think of the fact that Vader cannot live in the wild without his iron-lung mask on. Even Luke knew that at the end of Jedi....

Gotta admit, though, I kinda don't care. Your interpretation of it is outstanding!

Oh, that's really nice.  Love the foot... necron?

Thanks! For the robotic limbs I found an old terminator 2 set from 1997 or so that was basically the exact right scale. I cut the palm/fingers for the exposed hand and the leg below the knee plus foot.

I suppose a necron may have been simpler...ha!

Looks awesome!

Now, you just need to visit Skullforge on Shapeways and get a Starkiller to go with him...; somebody had to wreck Vader's day, and that mini looks an awful lot like Vader at the end of Force Unleashed.

In addition to the earlier post that inspired me, I actually looked at the new Vader comics and that final force unleashed fight for damage inspiration.

Fun game!
