As an extreme measure, you shut down all machinery for the day and arrange for a planetary ion pulse scan from an orbiting Munificent-class frigate.  The scan reveals a large number of ion emission signatures in storage bay 54, overseen by TL-53.  More mines, more disassembly rack time.  More GAR programming; it looks as though TR-45's was merely a copy, and you've caught the head of the operation.  Not bad for a lost day's work.

As you get up, the halls seem... empty.  And dirty; grease stains coat the durasteel plating.  It seems H3-R0 never mopped this section.  A patrol finds him two hours later, broken on the factory floor, apparently pushed off a platform.  He may have been a cleaning droid, but he was one of you just the same.  You give him a proper smelting ceremony, consoled by the fact he'll live on in other droids and take the fight to the front lines.

What passes for "dawn" on Polaris Theta is the massive asteroid rotating around to face the system's distant sun.  The effect is rather pretty today; golden light pours over the gunmetal blue formations of ore, titanic mining drills casting long shadows.  You, however, are more concerned by the fact that TL-12 has been exposed to a lethal voltage of electricity from his charging cradle, frying him from the inside out.

Ok. So we know Clon could not have aquired any more mentees, since;

1) the was no opportunity to do so as he was hung right after pod died with no night phase betwixt them

and 

2) he died, and mentees die with the mentor

So either;

1) Gnips is also a godfather 

or 

2) LP has some kind of evolving role after he gets lynched
