I am actually super confused about that myself. I don’t understand why I’m alive. I don’t know why Pod is dead.

But I know one thing. I know it completely, and instinctually. I know it the way the rooster knows to crow at first light, or the salmon knows the way back to the spawning grounds. We should be trying to figure that out, yes. I’m also confused that there haven’t been more kills. It seems like since bertie was a mafia aligned, and the mentor/mentee is thirdparty, there should have been two kills a night? This would appear to have been the first night with two kills. Mafia had to kill Matt N1, while the mentor aquired a mentee. Presumably, this is the point where Podracer falls to the dark side. N2, LTD dies. Only LTD. Maybe both factions really wanted to cross off the unlynchable? But then, N3 what, they both go for Cal? And now they finally split it up, one for me and for Podracer?  If anyone has any ideas wtf is going on, let me know. Cuz I’m lost.

Anyway, as to the mentor;

From where I’m sitting;

We know its not LP, or if it is...checkmate, I guess, since we can’t kill him.

We know its not me. (By virtue of Pod dying at my doorstep)

I assume it can’t be Gnips, since I got an antitown result from him.

I assume its not you, since I’m alive right now. 

Clon gon’ die. He may well be the Mentor. He may just be some other type of scum.

Hero is either an insane cop like myself, or part of a scum faction with Clon, to have bluffed the results the way he did. Occum’s says he’s an insane cop. Also that would mean there’s three remaining anti town, and I think thats probably way too high a number. So probably then he’s fine, and by extension so is Ebon.

The problem is, if we assume there has to be at least two antitown players out there still (Bertie’s partner and the mentor) I’ve just more or less cleared the whole ******* game.

Well then. Still trying to wrap my head around LP not dying to lynch, let alone all of the stuff that happened last night. 

I scanned GNIPS, and got an anti-town result. Well, given everything, it’s probably best to assume that Mad and I are both insane cops. As such I’m all ready to vote for @clontroper5, but it will be hammer if I do. So I’ll hold off for now and give @Lord Preyer and @GhostofNobodyInParticular a chance to weigh in, and to give Clon a chance to make a final plea, if he wishes to.

I can think of a couple other explanations as to why it took so long for a double kill to happen:

Bertie was a roleblocker. If he roleblocked the Mentor then that would have set them back at least one night. 

The Mentor probably tried to convert one or more of the players who died to the Mafia Kill, thus preventing the convert from going through. 

I think there’s a very good chance that Clon is the mentor, and he wasn’t super active the first cycle or two. He may have simply missed his opportunity to submit his action. I don’t remember, did those two nights go to the full 24 hours or did they end early once all the actions were in?
