Single square and líne of sight

Recommended Posts

Hi.

Last 12 of october we had the Spanish National tournament and get the news related to the líne of sight changes  with the blocking terrain (https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/277389-imperial-assault-official-rulings/)

Then I have had lot of questions and diferents points of view related in how to apply that rules.

I have a simple question related with single blocking squares, movile figures into (like sabine for example) and líne of sight to attack her.

Imagine that sabine is in a single red square.

Need any figure to be adjacent to her obligatory to attack her?

Could be possible to have line of sight to her from another non adjacent square, if there is no walls or other blocking terrain between the attacker and her? (Remember that she is in a single red square).

Thank you very much!!

Line of sight can be drawn to a figure occupying blocking terrain, the attacker does not need to be adjacent. You can draw line of sight (and count spaces) to the space the figure occupies, or the chosen target space if the figure is large, but you cannot draw line of sight through (both into and out of a blocking terrain space).

In effect you ignore the terrain of the target space, but you don't ignore the terrain of any other space when drawing line of sight or counting space to the target of an attack (or an ability).
