"Hold on," one of you says, "what about that one?"  Eyes collectively turn to Vipcard3, who sits on the floor.  "He hasn't said anything all night!"

LP-834 looks over and shrugs.  "Not a bad place to start."  After the votes are cast, LP puts his hand out and grasps Vipcard3 around the neck.  Electrictiy courses through his body and he spasms until LP finally drops him.  After sifting through his remains, you discover not weapons among his personal belongings but many photos and floor plans of a bantha ranch on Lothal.  If only he had the chance to start over.

Vipcard has died.  He was a town-aligned Refugee (vanilla town).

Night has fallen.  Night will end at 8:30am EST or once all night actions are in.

"Good morning," LP-834 says as you start to rub sleep from your eyes, "Shame about that VIP fellow.  Well, at least there are still the rest of us to sort this mess...oh dear."

The silver protocol droid bends down and nudges a figure lying on the floor.  "This is most troubling.  This poor fellow has been murdered!"  After slumping on the ground, LP-834 stands and holds his head up high.  "We must get to the bottom of this!"

@PodRacer is dead.  He was a town-aligned Refugee (vanilla town).

Nope, also don't think Vip was the smartest call last night guys..

CV posted but nothing of value really, IMPO we should've left Vip alive to explain and hung VC who was lurking and iffy but that's my two cents.. I fell asleep and what happened happened...

With 10 players to vote on Vip it's 50/50 if scum are on the wagon but I'd wager at least one of them is...

Pod is dead, which leaves the others....

Off that list Pod was voting LTD, Matt/CV both had suspicions on them... I don't think that's anything much but could be something

 

Now two people are dead I'd like to know if CV, LTD, Broba, Gnips have to say being quiet ish D1 is fine but now we have some stuff to work on would like to hear what you guys have to say?

as for clearer options, as said in my previous post I think CV was the better one, but for him himself surely Matt, as he had suspicions and always better to give someone a chance to speak just my opinion... I'll be watching this day

I dont recall having any suspicions other then voting for LP and Mag and then I woke up and voted literally with like an hour to spare just to make sure we dint not vote.

LP usually full of flavor and talking had said nothing. Pre game warned he was not going to talk Wednesday. it was Tuesday so he was available.

That's a fair point but he was in Texas not the best on my time zones but I think they're a day ahead? but don't quote me.. I'm also off to bed as I'm playing marda with Pod tomorrow so he can die all over again

Tuesday was Election Day - as such my day started at 0530 and ran until 0300 so that was stretching the definition of “available” even for my time zone juggling talents!

I also explained why I was talking less in terms of my lessons learned from previous games. 

As for flavour, I’ll try and get back to that in due course but those posts take a bit more time and energy and lacking both I just tried to contribute as I could.

As for substance, I switched my vote to Vip because of the combination of my reread and my worry that a fragmented town vote would result in a no lynch. Given that our chief grounds for lunching D1 was non-participation I don’t feel a high level of guilt for this decision although I obviously feel Town regret. 

As for the killing of Pod... that surprised me. It could be done to set Ebon up or it could be done by Ebon with that defence in mind (I can certainly imagine you cackling “REVENGE!” in ScumChat  as you did this @EbonHawk  ). Ah, the wine in front of me, strikes again...

Anyway, those are my starting thoughts.

Also, one night kill likely meaning:

- only mafia (2-3, probably 3?)

- unless serial killer killed n1 (pro-move)

- or two NK attempts but one blocked/saved. Would such events feature in the start of day report in this game please @Caldias? Thank you

Why kill Podracer? Thoughts;

Casts immediate shade on Ebon (ongoing jokes) and LTD (where Pods vote resided most of D1). 

Reduces the pool of players who voted on Vip, maybe makes it more tempting to limit search pool to those players? Advantageous to scum if that was an all town lynch.

Maybe scum thought they saw something pods posts that made them guess power role? 

Pod had a quiet D1. Finding it hard to infer much from his death. 

Unrelated;

LP’s indecision towards the end of D1 regarding matt read very much like LP town to me. It looked like he was willing to vote him to make sure he got his vote in and a lynch happened, but he didn’t love the target.

Hey guys, sorry my D1 was inactive - I actually posted way more Wednesday than I initially planned, it was an unbelievably hectic day for me. I do realize I missed the vote, but that was because when I checked in at 11:30 and tried to rally, but then fell asleep before voting - and then the day ended at 3am my time. So yeah, it was kind of a rough one for me.

Should be more present here on out.

Lol Ebon is aggro all over me again just like Cal last game ?. I t's hard for me to adjust to US timezones, you guys are 1/3 a day behind most of the time, should I post my uni schedule again? My reads so far:

Ebon remains as Ebon-y as ever.  Pod's death is notable, but it's too obvious to be incriminating.  Mads back to giving the usual good insight.  I'll still probably never know if you're scum, so in a vacuum you'll be my policy vote if you live too long.  Sorry. ☺️

 

Constantine I don't have a good read on, but he seems the methodical type.  Be careful about following people, CV; no matter who you choose, they'll flip killer over enough games.

 

LTD, GNIPs, Broba and LP are all tough to judge right now, each claiming for RL reasons, and I don't like that.  Who do you think you are to have lives?  We're playing Star Wars mafia here!  Post some reads, dammit.

 

Matt remains at the top of my list.  Not only because of yesterday's Mads vote, nor then sealing the hammer (I would've done that too.)  But then Pod dies, and right out of the gate Matt makes a joke about Ebon killing Pod.  Which feels like planting seeds.  Matt, care to fill me in on your thought process?
