What type Of clone war units are we going to see in Star Wars Legion. definitely clones And droids, that’s the most basic idea. anybody else have any ideas.?

Hmm... I think the starter boxes will be....

REPUBLIC
Commander: Obi-Wan or Anakin
Corps: Clone Troopers
Support: AT-RT (Clone Wars Era. So probably slightly better and pricier than the rebel one.)

SEPARATISTS
Commander: Grievous or Count Dooku
Corps: B1 Battle Droids
Support: STAP squad.

I could see Jedi being the heavy weapons or personnel slot, maybe a new slot, in corps units. Perhaps as unit leader if included, and granting a single force power slot.  I'm not sure if this would mess with their mobility, but they typically were assigned a unit of clones. 

The named Jedi i could see being support, SF, etc though.

??? Why would you need a "better" version, and what would it even look like? It's already pretty much 3 unavoidable damage a range two any round that Vader doesn't get into melee.

Maybe a different saberthrow, since I would hope that all the new Jedi would have different dice configurations to demonstrate their lightsaber skill. Mace Windu has different dice than Luke (all black) which are different than Vader (all red) which are different than Yoda, Ahsoka, etc.

 That’s even better.? what if there was a super heavy weapon that had the area keyword you would ignore cover And there would be a range and all friendly and enemy units within that range would hit by that weapon.

Droids get a B2 Super Battle Droid for the squad leader, maybe. 

Support could be a Dwarf Spider Droid. 

Droidekas will certainly be a special forces expansion. 

I'd love to see some Vulture droids with walk and fly configs, but hey...pipe dreams. Seps already have so many armor options.

I think Droidekas can be support most likely and B2 for elite option (or expensive corps). I do not like the idea of mixing B1 and B2 in the same unit. You have B1 sarges painted in yellow for unit leaders. I hope for something like this:

Commanders: Grievous, Dooku or Super tactical droid.
Operative: Darth Maul or Asajj Ventress
Corps: B1s, geonosian warriors
Support: Droidekas or STAPs
Elite: Magnaguards, B2s...
Heavy Supports: Lots of possibilities here

God no more dice!!!! I already had to trek across the earth to find extra dice packs.

as for heavy i'd like the IG227 Hailfire-class droid tank. 

as for droidekasas well as STAPs i think they fit into support class while B2s are better as special forces.

I doubt they would come out with more dice, unless it’s not a d8 or d6(something bigger or smaller), and then they wouldn’t be fair to use with the old dice.

Because of the surge mechanic in the current system you can can have any unit’s attack go from 2 sides on a d8 to 7 sides on a d8 as successes (hits) and any number in between(3 sides, 4 sides, 5 sides, etc, etc). On the d6 side of things, you can go from 1 side on a d6 to 4 sides on a d6 being a success or block. I guess they could add a d6 that has 5 sides capable of success, but like I said, it’s unlikely they’ll produce a die like that (4 sides with a block, one with a surge and one with a blank). Red defense die troops are already hard enough to get damage through without Pierce.

It would be net to see purple dice though.😊

this looks terribly uncomfortable.

Purple dice are for Mace Windu only
