He doesn't look like Temuera Morrison. I wonder if there were ever more cloning facilities with different templates.

We know the cloning facilities on Kamino were said to be shut down... but were there?

Kamino was a planet of cloners according to Dex.  In the old cannon at least, the facility cloning imperial troops was destroyed, but I don't think the technology to clone or every piece of cloning equipment was removed from the entire planet/corporation.

Also, I don't think that the theory is that he is a clone, it is that he is a cloner.

Dr. Pershing is a Doctor/Scientist (I posted this clip two days ago earlier in this thread).

The markings are that of the Cloning  Project.

And the uniform is similar to Imperials working on The Tarkin Initiative.

I loved seeing a Kubaz!

We see a Kubaz in A New Hope, Garindan ezz Zavor, who is a spy/informant for The Empire.

Fun Fact 1:

Garindan ezz Zavor was voiced by Legendary Western Icon John Wayne, making it the last film he was part of.

Fun fact 2 (not as cool but it is for me):

The first new Template I personally created (as opposed to edited) for West End Games was the Spy, which Garindan was the first ever Canonical Spy in game.

Spy

Dex 2D +2

Know 3D

Mech 2D +2

Per  4D

Str  2D +2

Tech 3D

In gamer speak,  thats like saying I saw someone use the very first Assassin Class in D&D after getting to  develop it.

The Mandalorian's personal blaster is based on the Bergmann 1896 semi-automatic pistol.

Thanks to u/maven

1894 No. 1 it seems. A bunch of people were spamming Ian over at Forgotten Weapons and he put up this vid:

It's in keeping with tradition when it comes to Star Wars, to make blasters based on old historical guns, Han Solo's DL-44 is based on a Mauser C96, the E-11 blaster rifle is based on the Sterling submachinegun, and so on.

I loved episode 2.

Great use of the Jawas. It was glorious seeing more of the Sandcrawler in action, especially the Mando sitting in the cramped bridge 😂

The short length doesn’t bother me in the least. You tell a story with the span of time it requires, nothing less, nothing more.
