Pullman, WA group launch demo

Recommended Posts

Tosche Station, our X-Wing playing group, is launching our casual league night with a 2.0 demo on Tuesday, September 25th at 6:00.  We  are a small group that has been meeting once a week at Palouse Games in Pullman, WA. With the launch of 2.0 we want to invite old players to give the game another shot and give new players the chance to find another fun game. Our current group includes students from both WSU and UI and all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Sweet. Nice to hear you found a group kogtim. I'll try and swing by. How big is the group? Also, how much 2.0 stuff do you have? I haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet, but I can bring some 1.0 ships and bases if you have cardboard for me.

We are currently pretty small (normally about 4 people show up) but we are looking to expand with this event. Feel free to bring all of your stuff that you want. I don't think we have many scum ships so those would be especially helpful though we won't have bases for them

Have you guys considered starting an X-wing group on campus? I think it would be easier to get people to show up if they didn't have to travel very far. Plus it would be easier to talk to B&N on campus about swapping their Star Wars junk for X-wing 2.0 stuff if there was a presence on campus. I think a big part of people not playing it is how obscure the game is.

I only found out about it because Hastings in Moscow had them on clearance right before it went out. I imagine it wouldn't be too hard for the Bookie to carry it because B&N does stock them.

Also, how long have you been meeting at Palouse Games? I was given the impression by the owner that no one played X-wing there.

We just started playing at Palouse Games this semester. With the group we have now it is a more convenient location but if the interest to play on campus is there it could be changed.
