Beginning a large corner piece:

Now to paint the lower layer, connect the two, and add static grass. Then on to sculpting / painting the high ground

I can't recall ever seeing someone do corner terrain like that, and I can't imagine why not. It's an amazing idea.

These "parts" showed up in the mail yesterday. This is going to take a bit of work. Still deciding which direction to take this one:

*AT-ST and Stormtrooper for scale.

Which atat is that? It looks pretty good scale wise. Just a little too small.

This is awesome. A couple Qs

What is your basing material here? Kinda looks like just the foam poster board stuff?

Also, did you do anything to the natural stick to sterilize it? I've got a TON of sticks from trees in our yard, and thanks to my dog lol wanted to use some in a similar fashion!

Basing material is just plasticard. It is thinner and gives a nice smooth transition to the play mat.

I got the stick out of a field, but it was during the most dry part of the summer. No sterilization - just set it aside for awhile in the garage to make sure no bugs were in it.

How did it play!??

What's your experience with extended elevation, like your corner piece and such.

I could see a battle map going 1 or 2 more levels up, possibly along one entire side.

This is inspiring!
