Your first 2.0 list?

I definitely see the argument for taking it over Dorsal Turret, but I also don't think that's enough to raise it above the bar of being any good (outside of Kavil, who's probably pretty good with ICT & Han Gunner).

I think there are more places for it, but probably not massed on generics. You need a good reason to want larger area coverage, like as you said Kavils ability, Kestals ability, too, as she needs more area to catch her prey with her ability. There may be more I'm not thinking of or will be more coming out.

@NABLA_OPERATOR The issue with a list like that is that you can fit Drea with twice as many ships and be a lot more punchy. Drea swarm looks incredibly strong, as it isn't tethered to her, and once I get the scum kit, I'll definitly run that.

Edit: Funny enough, Drea is another of those cases where you want more arc coverage, therefor ICT being a strong consideration.

ICT doesn't cover more arc than Dorsal though, right?

I've yet to put Drea Swarm on the table because I don't really like either outcome: it's either not as good as looks on paper which is disappointing, or it is as good as it looks on paper which is terrifying.  The only people I know who've played it fed back that it went through their opponent's list like a knife through butter.

I think this will look great on the table.

However I would go for as many headhunters and quadjumpers as possible instead of the goons

Sure doesn't cover more area, but I'd rather have a decent gun than dorsal and there isn't much else I'd want to spend points on. Maybe 0-0-0 on one of the Gunrunners, but that is about it.

I believe it was...

  • Boba Fett - Intimidation, 0-0-0
  • Fenn Rau - Crack Shot
  • Zealous Recruit

TBH I'd probably use Fearless instead.  0-0-0 should be in every scum list, though, he's non-negotiable.  Most auto-include upgrade in the game.

That list seems like it's stretching the points too thin, I'd say.

If you drop Fenn Rau down to Old Teroch, you can do whatever full loadout you want for Boba.

For example:

Boba + Fearless + IG-88D + Marauder + Han Solo

Old Teroch + Fearless

Zealous Recruit

is 197 points..

As a general difference in list building from 1.0 - cheap ships with low attack, but with multiple missile/torp charges are now much more viable and useful. So 3 or 4 Z-95s with 3-4 charges on missiles of 3 attack die are far more viable than they were in 1.0

I'm not sure, the 2nd Ed ICT is a lot worse than the 1st Ed.  Because the first damage you do is damage and not Ion I think you really struggle to actually ionise stuff.

And with lists moving towards more and more ships the Ion token loses a lot of value anyway as you're only ionising 20% of their list not 50%.

I'm well aware just how lousy ALL turrets are in 2.0.  And how bad ICT's are in particular, basically useless for ionizing anything above 0-evade ships.  It's one of the reasons I am a very reluctant converter to 2.0.  However, I plan to run this list if for no other reason than to prove to myself how miserable they really are, before (maybe) switching to whatever netlist is wrecking the latest meta.  Something I refused to do in 1.0.

I've been enjoying this. The stygium+Vader+Juke combo is brutal.

This is near the top of the list of things I'm looking forward to violating people with soon.

My first list would up being Palp Defenders.  Two Delta Squadron Pilots, an Omicron Group Pilot, no upgrades but the Emperor himself.  It's worked out fairly well, all together.  Simple.  Efficient.  The Shuttle was majorly improved.

Advanced sensors allow Saw to send an eye to Wedge and then remove the stress token with a blue movement, so Wedge can fix two targets in his first attack and use the torpedoes while being concentrated.
