Ghost 1.0 HELP

well we are having a send off to X-wing 1.0  with a store tournament and I want to play the Ghost but being as I have never played it before I need help. the thing is , I only want to play the ghost shuttle combo 95-100 pont.

this is what I came up with, is it any good and how do i play it? 

thanks in advance, remember this is just for fun. but I would like to at least do well.

This is.... not a good list. For several reasons.

You've stacked waaaay too many upgrades onto Kanan. You'd actually have a better ship if you simply removed the proton torpedoes, ince anything Kanan can get a torpedo off on he's better shooting with his primary weapon or turret. He's going to die very, very quickly, and your build can't stop it effectively.

Sabine is ridiculously overbuilt. With here ability, she doesn't need a TLT to get good shots, and HotCop is far less useful on her than it is on Fen Rau at PS11, so you don't get much out of it at all.

Finally, your Rey/RecSpec combo is truly outdated. There's simply no reason to  use it over Maul/Ezra except for Kanan's lacklustre ability.

You'd be far better off using a stripped down Ghost and Phantom II and adding a third ship. My suggestion would be:

Lothal Rebel (43)
Ezra
Fire Control System
Hera
Autoblaster Turret

Lowhrick (31)
Rey
Draw Their Fire

Sabie Wren (attack shuttle) (25)
Intensity
Tactician

Totalling 99 points.

The Lothal only attacks once per roound, but it's almost always going to be double-modified, and is a lot less predictable. Lowhrick make target selection awful, since he'll soften any shots directed at the threatening Ghost. Sabine is a flanking piece that's difficult to take down and highly manoeuvrable.

All together, your list becomes much more efficient and flexible at winning games.

If you're committed to only flying the ghost and shuttle, try putting some advanced protons with saw gerrera on the ghost to see just how much hurt you can dish out to your opponent before you go down. Use the crew on the ghost and shuttle to feed focus tokens to kanan pilot. I'd also recommend accuracy corrector with either tlt or autoblaster turret.

With this you'd want to stay close to your opponent - especially if you opt for the autoblaster turret.

Not late at all... I am however switching out Rey for hot shot Co pilot, hopefully this makes Kanan's ability more useful and strip focus before they are used. Question: does the crew for the shuttle work on the mother ship as well, I'd say it doesn't but i have never played with a docked  ship before so just curious.

I like the Ezra/Maul combo on a Lothal Rebel.  Maul just rocks my world.  Usually with Ezra docked, a TLT, FCS and Han crew.  Re-roll with Maul, spend target lock to change eyes to hits with Han, get the target lock back for the next shot and hopefully Maul removed that stress too.

Then Fenn Rau alongside with Kyle Katarn, R2 astro and Predator.  Lets Ghost have focus and evade, and a focus for himself and still able to coordinate.

Other question I was told or it was eluded to that there is a way to get 5 attacks with this ship, is that true and if so how, cause that would be useful. 

According to the card I can only see 3 attacks... once front or back and then a Tlt for two attacks am I missing something?

You can get 4 at a minimum with 2 TLT attacks. If you equip Luke, Gunner or Baze  as a crew, you can perform a 5th attack (primary) after missing both end-of-turn TLT shots. So yes, 5 shots is possible, but definitely a waste of points.

so 4 attacks is Front , back and TLT?

Not quite. It's a TLT in the combat phase for 2 attack, and then a second TLT salvo using the ghost/shuttle ability for another 2, then when you miss the shuttle/ghost attack, you trigger gunner to get a fifth.

so if you have a TLT on the shuttle and the Ghost they can both shoot?  what order would that be in? would that be shuttle first, then the Ghost TLT and if one of those miss you trigger gunner ? I thought shuttle while docked only got to shoot primary and secondary weapons.

That's not how it works. The Ghost titl allows you to dock a friendly ship. The Phantom title then says that while you are docked to the Ghost the Ghost can perform a bonus attack with an equipped turret at the end of the round. So you only need a turret equipped to the Ghost, and if the shuttle is docked it can attack with that turret twice in a round, or four times with a TLT.

The shuttle can never, ever shoot while docked.

Exactly, but it's only good for doing 1 more damage to aces, since in just about all other circumstances using the TLT is better than the primary attack.

It's probably been done before. but it was pretty fun to play last night and I won 4 out of 5 games
