I’ve had good success with Ciena, Valen, and Saber Squadron in lieu of Vader and Soontir. I would go with list 2, but swap out Needa for Strategic Advisor and your squadrons for Ciena and Valen (better small fighter screen). Gives you a 1 point bid too against fleets at 400. R4Pi3R 101 Posted July 7, 2018 I'd agree with @chr335 on that the first list needs more blue anti ship dice to make Sloane viable. You have 7 among all fighters (considering jendon will let Maarek Attack twice) and most of them can and will only use them when you have the space superiority. On the second list, I'd swap the fighters for smth like Ciena and Valen or so. Better coverage and synergy, as your two fighters have none. Mauler's skill cannot be used properly w/o Intel or Chirpy and thus isn't a danger that would require focus. So they will shoot Fel first w/o triggering his skill. Also, with a Vic and only 2 fighters as screen and no real aa power, drop Superior Positions for Solar Corona. Any swarm list or squad ball will outmaneuver the vic and tickle him away, while piling up victory tokens. Also, though being ninjad by @Admiral Calkins, I'd drop Needa for SA so you can make better use of Avenger and maybe First/Last something with Demo. Lastly, you could drop ACMs for APTs and from those 2 points give the Gozantis a Comms Net to feed CF-tokens to the Cymoon for IF!. 1 Admiral Calkins reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(6) Total: 171 Victory I-Class Star Destroyer (73) External Racks (3) Total: 76 Gladiator I-Class Star Destroyer (56) Captain Brunson (5) Assault Proton Torpedoes (5) Engine Techs (8) Demolisher (10) Total: 84 Gozanti-Class Cruisers (23) Comms Net (2) Total: 25 Squadrons: Ciena Ree ( 17) Valen Rudor (13) Saber Squadron (12) Advanced Gunnery and Hyperspace Assault play around the Vic, either give it more Punch or throw it in as a roadblock. Dangerous Territory abuses Demo's ET mobility and the Brunson defense buff, while softening enemy ships up that try to get points. Agressive Black Rerolls through Vader and IF!, which is fed by the Gozantis' Comms Net. Ciena and Valen as Screen, while Saber Squad stays a bit behind to snipe and as an alternative source of swarm, once Ciena dies. Fighters can also be replaced by 5 generic TIES or up to 44 Squad points of whatever you want. Played it in about a dozen casual games or so and think i won 3 in 4 or so. Advanced Gunnery gave me the least impact on the games, as the Vic has to navigate all the time to keep targets in its Arcs, once they are closer than long range. Hyperspace Assault resulted in several blocked larges or mediums that ate the Vics ER attack and the fire of either the ISD, Demo or both. Screen is enough to keep a small force at bay but cannot compete with dedicated squad Lists. Had to take the carrier down or force it out of position with demo twice, once resulting in Demo getting fighter focused.... Also, a swarm makes Dangerous Territory a gamble. If the opponent goes all out capping points, most of his ships will be able to repair, before you get the chance to make that extra damage count.
