General Zod 57 Posted July 1, 2018 Hey guys, I’ve got two questions that I feel are a little silly, but just want confirmation. 1) In table 3-11 (EV) under the “Other” column the “-1 damage to installed crystals” does mean I subtract 1 from total damage output of my lightsaber? 2) If I wanted to construct a Crossguard Hilt would I use the Defensive Template? It seems the logical choice, but FFG missed adding it in the chart. Thanks for the help on this, I know I’m probably overthinking these, but confirmation is always nice. Donovan Morningfire 10,200 Posted July 1, 2018 1st Question: Yes, much as you'd subtract 1 from the total damage output from a crystal installed into a shoto hilt from the core rulebook. 2nd Question: You could use the defensive hilt template as your basis, but all you'd get mechanically is the +1 to defense. However, there's an option in Table 3-12 to make a whatever hilt your constructing a crossguard hilt simply by spending 3 advantage or a Triumph, which admittedly uses slightly different mechanics than the crossguard saber as described on page 42 of EV. 2 Bellona and General Zod reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
