Does this sentient race exist in star wars?

Ask your GM. That's what I do when someone finds some art they like. Use the existing species stats and slap the artwork on as a skin to a tested existing race.

Is this balanced?

Star Wars Kangaroo Race
Brawn 3, Agility 2, Intellect 2, Cunning 2, Willpower 1, Presence 2.


Wound Threshold: 14+Brawn


Strain Threshold: 8+Willpower


Starting Experience: 90 XP


Special Abilities: Kangaroo's begine with one rank in Brawl. They still may not train Brawl above rank 2 during character creation.


High Jump: Able to jump very high or far in normal gravity. Once per round as a maneuver, may suffer 3 strain to move 2 range bands either vertically or horizontally.

For a female Kangaroo, she has lots of abdominals instead of a marsupial bag...

For the ears and something similar to the drawing, it seems like a Lepi.

So, I'd go with they're kangaroo like, not anthromorphic kangaroo's and simply not worry about the pouch.  The Kyuzo (spelling) and their jump ability would be a good match with my limited knowledge of kangaroos.

I used to work in an authentic Italian restaurant.  I would occasionally help the chefs out in the kitchen. If I did something that wasn't authentic Italian, they would call it a "Skippy" attempt, i.e. a failed Australian attempt at being authentic.  The term Skippy comes from this show:

The reason I am mentioning this, is that this species idea is sooooo Skippy.  Don't do it.  Come up with something unique instead.  This isn't the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles RPG.

My gm ok'ed this stats for my kangaroo race. Does her race need's any fixing?

Female's get a pouch and the male's get +5 Exp.


Brawn 3, Agility 2, Intellect 2, Cunning 2, Willpower 1, Presence 2.

Kangaroo pouch: A female kangaroo can hold up to 2 encumbrance or a Joey.

I can't decide if I should make her a Pathfinder with pet or a Rigger with her own VCX-Light Freighter. In our last campaign I just got the ship then the players made our gm switch to pathfinder. :(  Because of that I get to start out with the same freighter if I choose to play any one of the pilot classes. :) The VCX starts out brand new with no upgrades yet.
