HuwBacca 11 Posted June 1, 2018 Am I right in assuming that you cannot use the characters from the conversion kit with the RTL app as you cannot add the conversion kit to the collection manger in the app?
any2cards 2,508 Posted June 1, 2018 Yes and No. You are correct that you can't add the Conversion Kit. Hero & Monster expansions have replaced the Conversion Kit. Having said that, if for some reason you really wanted to use the CK version of heroes, you could simply add whatever H&M expansion they exist in, and then select them, but use the CK version instead. Keep in mind that the app will often target certain heroes during travel, etc., and it may do that based on whatever attributes they have (based on H&M values) versus what the CK has. There is the potential that your playing experience may be "off". Nevertheless, you can still do it. 1 HuwBacca reacted to this
HuwBacca 11 Posted June 1, 2018 Thanks for the reply and info. I'm after using Hugo the glorious in particular and I believe he was originally in Dungeon Quest. To your knowledge does he feature in any of the H&M expansions?

Edit: I know there are some holes in the monster/quest data. I got that off of the D2e wiki and it lacked the info at the time (still may?). any2cards 2,508 Posted June 2, 2018 Currently, there are 12 D1e heroes that have not been released in any form for D2e. They are as follows: Aurim Bogran The Shadow Brother Glyr Eliam Hugo The Glorious Kirga Landrec The Wise Laughin Buldar Mad Carthos Red Scorpion Tobin Farslayer Varikas The Dead Unfortunately, I doubt we will ever see them for D2e, as I doubt we will ever see any further physical content for the game. 2 1 Agnati, HuwBacca and kris40k reacted to this
Bearalee 0 Posted September 5, 2018 I use the CK heroes but with just the base game and just pick one of the 8 heroes as a proxy. Reason I do this is because if u select the newer versions it will also assume u have other monster sets and possibly other tiles. You just have to ensure that the hero proxy is the same archetype so u can keep track of skill development. To me it's a very inexpensive way to have a lot more hero choice
