They have already had an incestial kiss. How'd you feel about that?

Touché, I want to watch Star Wars, but looks like Disney (or Kathleen?) thinks Star Wars is another place to bring discussions about minority stuff. Yes, there are still ships, the lightsabers and lots of Star Wars stuff, but the annoying minority stuff that Disneyminions loves is there to ruin everything up. So I agree with itzSteve

So, basically what you are saying is that only white hetero males should have people that they can relate to on screen? Women, minorities, and non-hetero people don’t deserve to see part of their “identity” on screen in their favorite universe?

Is that what you are saying?

Yeah I really wish minorities could just keep their crap out of my life and things I enjoy.  Sigh, life is hard.

I got your point, but for the last time... afjagfjasfbajls... I have NOTHING against women... the problem is how Kathleen THINKS STAR WARS IS! But who cares? Someday another person will be the main head of Star Wars (or Disney) and that person will do his/her own thing again xD

Do you think that might stem from her growing up watching Star Wars and seeing the only main female character relegated to the love interest who ends up in a metal bikini, and deciding to actively work against that type of thing?

I must say it’s nice to finally see the women in this franchise dressed appropriately for missions they are to undertake rather than exclusively skintight suits that happen to get ripped apart

Don't worry, Kathleen or Rian Johnson will put a man slaved by Jabba's nephiew and he is gonna be with just his tight metal underwear, just for you :3

Wow. Okay. Here's a little advice. EVERYWHERE is a place to bring up minority "stuff". If you think Hollywood is non-biased, you are as deep as a jelly roll pan. Watch the Oscars in any ara and try to tell be there is no social, political, or gender bias.

What I "think" you are getting at with your posts is that you want your beloved fantasy outlet to be about the fantasy and not politicized. I get that. But, you are doing a horrible job of that, and are instead pinpointing specific agendas that may or may not exist in said outlet. What I have read in your posts is pretty spot on with "star wars needs to get back to male white privilege we all enjoyed!"and that's not what should happen. Someone pointed out the diversity this franchise has had from the beginning, and it really has been groundbreaking. But, that's the beauty of film. We all see what we want. If you don't like it, there are still books....somewhere....

I know how it is to live in a country with diversity, Star Wars is NOT a place for such things. There is no problem to have diversity, but are they fit for the job? Let's find the answear on episode IX, as Solo already got very bad numbers, but that is more thanks to the TLJ trash that Kathleen and Rian Johnson throwed to us than the Solo movie itself. But yes, let's just pretend that having diversity is marvelous and good! Yay for diversity! :D

So in a galaxy far more expansive and inhabited than ours there shouldn’t be diversity? Ok then...

Yeah, I am seeing ppl putting words on me on many stuff that I didn't said. I don't agree with this SJW and how Kaithleen/Disney thinks about Star Wars. Is that clear? Good, or else, think of w/e you want to think about me, it is not like I care. I prefer the original trilogy than all this Disney trash full of nonsense xD

Just need to add a few lines about Mexicans and walls and it will be starting to sound like everybody's favorite president.

(On a side note I'm not from that country and that entire election was basically one big stream of memes in my country so I will accept this may be an incorrect statement)

Well, I must suppose you all make part of the minority then that enjoyed TLJ, so I will end my discussion here, have a nice day everyone x3

I stated explicitly in several posts that I hated the last Jedi....

just not for the reasons that you do

Though Mr Book (I assume Mr) has apparently left I’d just like to say:

You are very very very wrong.

assume I added a whole load of swear words because I did, I just didn’t type this quickly enough as I didn’t want to piss off my girlfriend when I tried to explain that I needed to respond as someone was being homophobic on the internet.

Reasons that I disliked TLJ: ships running out fuel, useless pursuit, catapult shots and stupid story.
Reasons to dislike Disney and Kathleen: they lost their chance to bring some good storyes from EU into canon just to throw their SJW nonsense. Am I racist for that or for not wanting Star Wars to become Power Rangers or Glee? Lol... At last they didn't ruined with Rebels and Rogue One, possibly Solo neither from the comments I read here. But episode IX and the next trilogy? Ruined by the same poor minds behind TLJ. Solo bad audience was influenced by the horrible TLJ, that is for sure.

Well, let's count up the people who make an effort help the Rebel cause and fight the Empire in Rogue One:

1. Jyn Erso (a woman)

2. Cassian Andor (portrayed by Diego Luna, an actor born in Mexico)

3. Chirrut Îmwe (portrayed by Donnie Yen, an actor born in China)

4. Bodhi Rook (portrayed by Riz Ahmed, an actor born to a British-Pakistani family)

5. Saw Gerrera (portrayed by Forest Whitaker, an African-American actor)

6. Mon Mothma (another woman)

7. Admiral Raddus (a green-skinned, frog-like alien)

If there's one word I could use to describe this group, it would be...diverse.

Could you please give us a reason why The Last Jedi has been ruined by diversity, but Rogue One has not?

Just popping in here for a second to tell you guys that diversity is good as it gives populations a greater range of adaptability to changing conditions.

TLJ had some questionable story and direction decisions but the problem is not diversity/genders.
