'So be it' the blackened figure would hiss after a moment. As soon as it is finished speaking, the three step towards the shadows that line the walls. However instead of having their path blocked, they seem to melt into the dark as if they were entering water. They disappear from sight from the sith, but where had they gone? This would explain why they had not passed the rubble. They must be linked to the shadows by some sith magic, the stones had disrupted their path. Of course things were never so simple, and these beings sole purpose was now to try and kill Arissa.

Korath drops his invisibility. Then, calling on all of his power with the Force, he grabs the thugs beating Avalon with it and hurls them several meters down the hall, immobilizing them in the process. Following that, he steps forward inter posing himself between Avalon and their boss.

“End this now,” Korath says, holding his now activated lightsaber in front of him defensively. “And leave here in peace.”

YOU THINK THE DARK SERVES YOU FOOLS?! I AM THE DARK!

Before the first of the creatures were able to strike, Arissa spun and drove her mainhand Saber into the dark. A shrill shriek pierces the relative silence but her punishment of this thing wasn't done. She plunged her offhand weapon into the same spot as the body of the thing was slipping out of the shadows. She had punched straight through both of its eye sockets, bright beams of plasma were jutting out the back of its decaying head. Swiftly she crossed her arms and cut the top of its skull leaving a twitching half decapitated rotten body on the floor and a clink as its skullcap hits the stone.

Come fools, feel the pain of those who oppose me.

Well this is interesting! What tugs at the line eh?

"Your gravity serves, a twitch does tell, your movement ripples, space time dimples...

A tree dancing which way and that, yelling out the the gale's gust unseen, its hand blowing seen in leaves...

A body displaces, thus calls out its place..." He hollars out!

He trudges down the slope with a new twinkle in his eye.

He hums a tune as he navigates the rocky ledges and boulder falls that make up the mountains foot. The shrubs give way to gnarled and stunted trees, ancient; their lives told in the tormented shapes given to them by the arctic storms and slides.

He approaches the village, crossing a small stream feed by the mountains running fast and cold. He picks his way across 8t with the help off his staff, itself gnarled and old. He scratches greying red beard and looks over the tuft of civilization surviving in the brethren northern reaches.

The burrow-house's entrance lies ahead, rows of agricultural facilities cover the top of the network of living quarters, mounded buildings partially underground.

He looks around for anyone to greet.

There would be a cry of shock and frustration from the pirate band as yet another figure appears within their midst. 'Agh! Kill that one as well!' the captain would roar as he glances across from where he had been confronting Jonas. 'There's only three of them!'

Those in the crew that had not been frozen would raise their pistols and open fire on Korath. The jedi would be caught in a hail of red blaster fire, but his training means that he is able to block those bolts that would do him harm. The others would crash into the wall behind him, showering everyone in dust while leaving deep pockmarks in the wall. One lucky shot from the pirates however would graze the hilt of his lightsaber. The shot nearly takes off one of his fingers and flings the lighstaber from his hand. It lands under the feet of those in the corridor, causing most of them to try and leap out of the way of the deadly blade.

On Drall, the village is quiet at this time. Although it is still dark, a thin band of blue sky can be seen far in the distance as the sun begins to rise. Still, here and there people are up and about as they prepare for the day ahead. Those he pass are all Drall like himself, and they pay little attention to him for now. Up ahead he would see a structure that is very out of place in the village or burrows. He would see a tall and narrow pyramid tower made of a dull looking metal frame. It looks like a telegraph tower or something similar, and at the top of the tower he can see a small figure moving about.

Kark would sight slightly as he glances down at the frontier village from the top of the tower. A number of Verpines had been hired to set up this tower in the village, but he was the only one left. He had volunteered to stay behind while the others went onto their other projects. He was nearly finished as well, with only a tune up of the electronics at the top to complete. He wasn't planning on leaving any time soon, or at least not leaving Drall. The history of the planet was fascinating, and so well preserved. It would be a real shame to leave without investigating what he could.

The town itself was small, made mostly of those looking to start a new life for themselves. All sorts had been attracted here, from trappers to those with a shadier past to families craving a simpler life. The town was growing as well, they even had their own 'spaceport'. Well, that may be an exaggeration, but they did have a landing pad for shuttles coming to and from other parts of the planet. Every so often they even got a ship form off world.

Drez'n strolls through town trying to take his time, allow dawn to time to do its thing. Mostly stalling till any vendors open. Having spent the better part of 2 years meditating in the north reaches, he is eager to eat a home cooked meal, even if that "home" is a frontier tavern!

Shingles would crunch underneath the feet of the three venturing into the fissure. What little light there was from the lights of the submersible is soon lost as they move into the large crack in the wall. It looks like it was naturally formed, at least initially. The further they move into the inky blackness the more the walls feel like it has been carved with machinery. After a few moments they would be able to see light at the end, artificial light. They would also be able voices somewhere at the end of the tunnel.

In the centre of the structure, the gang leader would snap at someone near by Jonas. 'Oi! Leave the computer now, the jedi has the codes'. The voice of the leader would return to the jedi. 'You've been in that block for at least fifty years jedi, you're going to be blind for a day or so at least. Tell us the codes'. This new may come as a surprise to Jonas. He had planned to remain in carbonite for a long time, until the brotherhood was needed, but fifty years? So much had passed, an entire generation of people will have come and gone without his knowing. Who had even won the war? Was it still going? So many questions, and these pirates did not seem like the most reliable source of information. They were the only one he had for now though.

His comment regarding the alcohol would be met with silence for a moment before there is a coarse laugh and a slap on the back in response. 'In another life, you could have been a good crew member jedi'.

It was at this point there would be a beeping noise that would resemble a com link. 'What is it?' the leader would grunt.

'Yeah, boss? I don't think we're alone down here' Jonas would hear a nervous voice say.

'What? There was only one life form that we scanned for'.

'Well we just heard howling down in the lower levels we're searching. Sounded like some kind of animal'.

'Alright, check it out, keep the coms open'. This would be followed with the sound of a pistol being drawn from a holster and the cold of the metal being pressed against the back of Jonas's skull. There was a tutting noise before the leader speaks. 'Just when I thought we could be friends. What little monster do you have in this place?'

On Tatooine the two Weequay thugs would suddenly raise their rifles and aim them at the courier before them. 'Yeah, about your payment and all that. There isn't any, not from us anyway. We aren't Black Sun' one would near as he nods tot he crate. 'Now hand it over'.

The Black Sun contact was actually arriving at this moment. Jar had been sent to meet with the contact delivering the crate. His superiors hadn't told him what was in the crate, in fact they had been keeping the Jawa at arms reach for a long time. It didn't feel like he was particularly appreciated in his current job. He would round the corner to the hanger just as the Weequay raise their blasters. They hadn't spotted him, giving him a chance to react.

On Korriban, the path ahead was lit with dim torches that lit when she reached them, and extinguished when she past them. The walls were carved with pictures of great battles and ancient sith warriors. One figure in particular seems to recur on multiple pictures. She would eventually reach a steep ramp that leads to a mighty double door made of red stone. Carved above the door was the words 'Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Perhaps it was a clue to pass the door? At the moment there did not seem to be anything else around other than the carvings.

It took only a second for Jar to realize what was going down in the hanger, some fool was trying to rob the Black Sun Syndicate. Jar thought that a being would have to be either incredibly desperate or incredibly stupid to do such a thing. Well time to put them out of their misery the Jawa thought as he raised his Ionization Blaster and with a shout of Utinni! He pulled the trigger and several blue blasts of electricity whirled through the air and hit the Weequays dead on, hmmm thought Jar they seem to be unphased than he smiled under his hood for he knew any Comlinks on them where probably fried.

Having a moment's reprieve behind the outcropping on the roof, Elias explains what he saw through the Force to Akua in person and to the group in the Arc-170 over Chemdat's comlink.

I've only got a few moments of breathing room so I'll make this quick. We can get fuel for the fighter and/or a shuttle off planet in a town to the east of Garang, it's hard to judge distance but it's a long walk or short drive by speeder.  The shuttle is heading there now and should be on the fighter's sensors now.  However, the Force User leading this invasion is Matthis Karr is the town, he's an old enemy of my jedi master, Korath Lorren, and he's gunning for me as a way of hurting Korath. Sorry to have dragged you into this, I didn't see it coming before now.  I've never encountered Matthis Karr personally, but from the vision he seems very powerful.  For the best odds of success we should regroup outside the town before venturing in to obtain fuel.  Please find a place to hide the ship outside of town and i'll find you, until then maintain radio silence.

There is an unholy squeal as the sith creation is stabbed before it is cut short with its head dropping to the floor. The body follows it quickly, and as it it the floor is slowly begins to disintegrate into flakes of black.

'We do not feel pain thief, we are the manifestation of the dark side' one of the creatures would growl before they both charge forwards. Though they moves normally before, with the speed of the attack their movements become jerky and frantic, like puppets being flung around. They are unnaturally fast and strong, and spare nothing in their assault of the Sith.

The first slashes downwards with its pale sword before following it up with a savage series of jabs and slashes. For a construct it is oddly talented in combat, perhaps a skill from its former life? Though Arissa is able to dodge and parry, one thrust comes dangerously close to slicing through the side of her neck. Though the attack is blocked it leaves her somewhat vulnerable to the second attacker.

The second attackers movements and tactics seem to be almost identical to the first, and attacks her right. Though it is unable to injure her, there is a horrible cracking noise from the creatures wrist as it twists its blade around to force her lightsaber from her hand. The wrist snaps back to its original position as it makes another slash at her, a handy trick to say the least.

Korath stands up, after having recovered his lightsaber. Stepping forward, he enters into a guard position in front of the pirate leader, both hands gripping the hilt. "If you think taking on a Jedi is so easy, why don't you face me yourself? You'll learn that defeating a Jedi isn't as 'easy' as you think."

As light creeps over the town he parks himself in front of a food stall and waits for it to open.

He lights a cigar and meditates. Leaning against a wall he drifts into the force allowing it to wash him clean of worry.

Akua nods in understanding.

I have a speeder nearby, that should be able to handle both of us. Do you want to make a run for it? Or do you want to sneak our way there?

Somewhere  in between, sneak as much as it is convenient, and run when it's not or we've been spotted.  Once you pilot the speeder out of the city, maximum safe speed is desirable.

The thing broke its own wrist to try disarm her. Clever. Resourceful. Idiotic. It used the manoeuvre expecting to leave her at a disadvantage but only left itself open. The saber that would have slipped out her hand instead went low and quickly stabbed into the things belly. With a swift upward motion the blade of the saber cut up its torso and through the neck to the side, near bisecting the thing in two. It flopped to the ground and turned to dust like the previous of her prey. Turning to the remaining creature Arissa smiled. A smile that would send a chill up the spine of death itself.

Things are looking up for Jonas.  He's got his lightsaber back and he's walking away, mostly invisible, from the Pirates. Well except for their chief, but somebody is keeping him occupied.  Maybe the guy who "kidnapped" the kid, thinks Jonas.  Maybe the guy is actually a peace officer of some sort and the kid an escaped criminal? Is this why the guy wants Jonas to take the boy upstairs?  Jonas ponders this.  And ponders it to the exclusion of paying attention to his feet.  His left foot lands unevenly on something.  A blaster pistol?  Maybe, Jonas wonders as his left foot slips and sends the pistol flying backwards as he slams down hard on his right foot to catch himself.  Whew.  Safe.  At least for now.

It is still very early on Drall, most of the people in the village are asleep, staggering home from a good nights drinking, or are already deep in the woodlands for work. Of course in an hour or so it will be more of a bustling place, but till then it is eerily peaceful.

That is at least until there is a dull clang from near the top of the tower followed by a thud as metal hits the floor. This is also followed by a rather pitiful wail from Kark from where he is suspended by one hand. The metal beam he was stood on had given way, and unlike many insectoid species, Verpine cannot fly. 'Heeeeelp!' he would cry out as he glances down at the deadly drop below him. 'This isn't how I wanted to go out! Heeeeeelp!'

On Korriban the tomb guard doesn't even hesitate as its comrade falls. It lunges forwards with a shrill shriek. Its blade is held high as it makes a great sweeping strike for Arissa's head. The ferocity of the attack is staggering, as if alone the creature had become more determined to kills its enemy. It continues to strike and slash for her head, looking to sink the hissing blade into her skull. 'None have passed us, you will be no different!'

In the temple of Manaan, the pirate captain would sigh heavily as he turns to face Korath. 'If you think the jedi are someting I am afraid of, your are truly a fool old man'. He would roll his shoulders, the sound of cracking being heard before he removes the long coat he wore. Underneath the coat there was a black shirt with a number of large silvery plates sown onto it. Cortosis, enough to befit a pirate king. 'I have raided temples like this before, I know your tricks and your magic, and I will kill you!'

With that the captain lunges forwards, going to strike the jedi in the chest before swinging the other end of the electrostaff at his legs. This style of attack continues, with the captain using both ends of the staff to stretch Korath's defence more than he will have anticipated. He doesn't fight like the others, he fights with a precision and purpose that is rarely seen outside of the military or martial artist group. He clearly has been trained, it's like fighting a magna guard from the clone wars. The sudden onslaught with the staff throws Korath onto the backfoot, making it difficult to respond.

Meanwhile, the pirates continue to scramble to try and kick and beat Avalon into submission, while their crew mates cheer loudly as they watch on. However they are at least somewhat distracted by the jedi battling it out with their captain. The distraction gives Avalon a chance to respond to their attack, maybe to some damage to them. The crew completely miss the disappearance of Jonas, to focused on their other tasks.

The cry of distress woke Drez'n from his trance of waiting. He reached out to sense the mind of the cryer. He was filled with a flash dread. There was a warning in that vision, not just hope... Is it here now?!  His mind raced, the darkside ( Sense: 4eF 5 Dark Side
f-ds.pngf-ds.pngf-ds-ds.pngf-ds.png ) blocking his attempt to reach out. Its tendrils riding the fear that crept into his mind.

Ah to frell with it then!

He shakes his head as if to clear it, he then scans the horizon. Finding something to step on he tries to locate the origin of the disturbance over the various rooftops of stalls and buildings. (Perception?)

The things blow was easily batted away. A counter attack swing took its left leg off just below the knee. It fell on the floor after a spin landing on its free hand and the weapon embedded arm. Another flick with her offhand Saber took that embedded weapon arm off at its shoulder. Arissa walked calmly to the remaining leg of the creature and another quick strike sliced through the thigh removing a further limb. The last arm was next cut cleanly at the wrist making the thing fall fat on its face still struggling and screaming its weak proclamations of defiance. Walking to its lower half she stood without emotion for a few seconds watching its pathetic form writhing on the ground.

"Was this part of the challenge or just a somewhat dull side distraction for me?"

She waited for a response that she knew would not come then reversed the grip of her red bladed Saber letting the tip cut into the stone floor gouging out a small groove. Then she walked very slowly towards the thing dragging the Saber still digging into the floor with her. It hit flesh and cut up the thing slicing through the torso as she continued to move forward reaching its chest then its neck then its head splitting the thing in two. It only crumpled into ash once the Saber had done its full work. It had unsatisfyingly not screamed once and kept cursing her till it couldn't speak.

"Oh well. Time to move on yes?"

She grinned while heading to the door to her next 'challenge'

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xanth was still talking to the unfortunate sentient she'd been seated with on the ship as they disembarked.

"Aye, I mean Coruscant was gid, but I was done whey it ,ken? Theres nowt new there its aww the same, like I was tellin ya the folk at the orphanage jus wanted tae live basically no do nowt that gets the blood rushin, ken wot I mean?"

There was then someone screaming for help!

"SEE?! THATS WHAT I'M ON ABOUT MATE! JUST GOT HERE AND SHITES GONE DOON!"

She started running toward the sound of peril, the look of relief on the passengers face at her departure was plain and obvious.
