Love how closely the lead pilot is streaking past the combusting X-Wing.

Yea! Once I finish working on the canopies and the ocean grey aluminium of the hull, they'll all get their stripes. Front pilot is Baron Fel. High and to his left is Turr Phennir, with Fel's wrath in the back.

I'd like to add to the collection of free alt arts I've been building on

Wow, fantastic work! It looks absolutely stunning, I can’t wait to see it finished.

I’m curious what exactly you meant by the line I quoted above. I was working on putting together some alt art cards a couple months ago but the project stalled out (fortunately, with 2.0 now on the horizon) because I was having difficulty tracking down copyright holders and getting permission for the images I wanted to use.

oh, I just meant I give out the files for these things for free when they're done. I have to fix up my interface to be 2.0 compliant, but the others are here:

@citruscannon just curious, what’s up with that little scribbly upside-down Q that appears in the “interceptor pass 2” picture right about the lead interceptor’s cockpit?

light ball. It's a rough reminder of where I've decided to place my light source, so it helps me figure out what colour I should have the shadows, and the general direction and placement of them, for the ground. I've also got a few perspective lines as a separate layer in photoshop that I'm using, but I just mute the layer before taking a jpeg of it.

Looking even better!

By the way I hope you continue to stick with the landscape layout instead of portrait.

Yea it'll be landscape like the others, I just have to shuffle some things around the card to make it work for xwing 2.0
