Great work! Did you do anything with the legs on the popcorn bucket in the crashed pose? I can’t seem to get mine to the same level of flatness as yours.

A couple of "feet" were missing plates (my nephew bought me four so I didn't complain if they weren't 100% perfect). Look at the left front leg back plate, left rear leg back plate and the right rear leg front plate. Here is a better picture to show now the legs are placed on the board. I drilled holes and pinned the front legs, at the joint, to the board.

More work-in-progress pictures of my AT-ST. I cut off the ball for the turret so the turret does not sit level as in the movies. I started with the left leg mount section (touching at top and open at bottom) to the central body, then the upper left leg, then the lower left leg & foot. I glued the right leg mount section (open at top and touching at the bottom - this section is almost level with the base) next. Then the upper right leg section.  I next glued the left foot to get the pose I wanted. The lower right leg and foot are not glued yet. I'm not sure if I want the leg forward or back. I am leaning toward back right now, but straight down looks good too.

I may fix the legs and prime them so I can start painting. Although the actual painting may be after I get Veers and my next Stormtrooper squad done.

some troop pictures, only took me a month to paint, but hey, I have some terrain. I am only doing table top painting. I don't plan to win any prizes with these guys, but they look great on the table. I will have to take my son's advice and do some white touch up on a few figures (i.e. the left-hand commander in the second picture).

Back in my day, this was the low end of pro or award winning paintjobs so I'd say they're good.

Well, they sent me a whole new turret as I kind of expected. So since I now have some extra terrain and the option to play some, I decided to take off the top, drill a pin vice hole so I could cut out the turret hatch with a jeweler's saw.

Of course I still have some clean up work to do, but I will put a converted general Veers through the top when my figure arrives. It is on back order.

Search for rare earth magnets. There are many sites were you can order magnets in inches and/or millimeters, depending on the site. My son and I order in bulk, and order different sizes, I could not tell you where I got the ones that I used. I just used what I had available. I pin a lot of stuff and use magnets if I want to attach different parts, such as different arms on my 40K Space Marines.

I used a larger one in the AT-RT (you can see the silver magnet versus the gray AT-RT in the first picture). I believe I just glued the larger magnet without drilling anything. I attached a smaller one to the larger one and used a marker to mark the 'downside' of the smaller magnet, so when I glued it into the gun (downside facing down) the two magnets didn't repel. You can always cut off a small section at the top of the gun to match the upper magnet's height if you want to keep the distance above the ground.

So I got some alien heads. Someone asked in another thread about how they fit. The fit may be more to me not pinning exactly in the center, so I may need to use some green stuff. I believe the heads are the right size.

Where did you get the heads from? Are they shapeways?
