dotswarlock 2,424 Posted May 3, 2018 In the interest of "change management" and building hype, can you give version 2.0 the same type of treatment that you gave Legion? In other words, lots of previews until release date? I admit that part of my request is selfish (I am already drooling), but it would also give us the tool to build the hyper and help those in our communities who are resistant to change. Klinefelter Squad Leader 7 Posted May 3, 2018 Will we need "proof of purchase" to unlock the content on the app? Or will everyone be able to see all the content regardless of whether they own it? 3 Ccwebb, Wibs and eric5 reacted to this
Sinfect 0 Posted May 3, 2018 I did just a quick search and didnt see anything if this has been asked im sorry. But with the release soon of the Tie Reaper and shortly after release of 2.0 will the Tie reaper come with 2.0 cards for it? Also this might be a stupid question but in a video i watched about 2.0 it sounded like all upgrade cards are going to be faction specific is this true? Scum o the Earth 2 Posted May 3, 2018 As an avid A-wing player. (I have 6) Will it be possible to buy 1 rebel conversion kit and buy seperate A-wing dials for the other 3 A-wings I own? 2 Ccwebb and eric5 reacted to this
Herowannabe 4,376 Posted May 3, 2018 One thing I haven’t seen a clear answer on in the previews: with the new mobile-style arcs, can you only rotate them to 4 different positions (front, back, left, right)? Or can you rotate them to the diagonals (front-left, front-right, etc)?
eric5 0 Posted May 3, 2018 I've got 4x T-70's and 4x Y-Wings, and 6x Tie Fighters, given what's been released so far, it looks like I would need to buy 2 Conversion kits Rebel & Imperial to be able cover all of them? Is there going to be a more efficient way to bring some of these swarm type builds forward? (originally asked on twitter)
Jugdishian 2 Posted May 3, 2018 I play all three current factions and with many ships I have multiple copies (i.e. 3 jumpmasters, 10 tie fighters, 3 tie SF, 4 defenders, etc...) how is the expansion kits going to address people with multiple copies of the same ships ? Since there is no way for FFG to know how many ships a person has in each faction of will this be addressed ??
GLEXOR 589 Posted May 3, 2018 This may have been answered already, but do the 2.0 dials fit in the 1.0 dial upgrades?
Larky Bobble 424 Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) Errm... Could we get three X wing cards in the Rebel conversion kit please? I imagine you guys based the card distribution based on the base cost of the ship, but let´ s face it, most people have more X wings from the first edition than other ships that you have also given two cards of.... beardxofxdeath 112 Posted May 3, 2018 Is it only me or is Luke just more powerful then Vader? He recharges a FORCEPOINT every time he defends... sometimes he will not even need it! So he can use them often on offense too. Combined with a better chassis (X-Wing is superior to the advanced) Vader seems just... lacking a little. Or do I miss something. Maybe Luke will be more expansive sure. But from my point of knowledge now he seems much stronger. Especially with Torps... My first impression was they scale everything down, make every ressource limited (even r2-d2)... but then we have Luke with possible unlimeted Force (Force unleashed anyone?). And does anybody know if Forcepoints recover? Or are they just gone forever after spending them?

Vader can get 3 actions in a turn with no stress if he spends 2 force points, can always do 2 actions per round with no stress if he wants to. Luke has less max force (only 2), but is guaranteed to always have a force charge on defense.

Firespray-32 5,424 Posted May 3, 2018 How many named pilots are there per ship in the conversion kits? Are there at least two like in the original blister releases or are some ships down to just one now?

Wazat 1,249 Posted May 3, 2018 My questions (some may be duplicates of above): 1) The conversion kits don't cover my collection very well, since I have unreasonable numbers of certain ships (e.g. T-65s, B-Wings, HWKs, TIE Interceptors, TIE Fighters, Scyks, etc). But they 'tots are reasonable, if you're crazy enough! I'm very passionate about the game and my collection has reached an absurd size. Will single ship conversion kits become available for those of us who have more than 2 or 3 of a ship type? Or at least some form of print & play to make them usable for 2nd Edition Casual and Epic games? Buying 2, 3, or even 4 of one faction's conversion kit doesn't feel viable. 2) In what ways have maneuver templates changed? I have fancy acrylic maneuver and range templates. If they're still usable I'd love to continue using them (though I could eventually replace them) 3) I'm an admin on the X-Wing Wiki at Wikia and we're gearing up to make the new 2nd Edition wiki and start filling out what info we have. We have a team of devoted, passionate fans ready to build it out, biting at the bit for more info. We usually get information for the wiki the same way as everyone else: from the preview articles. We also get pilot images etc that way, or otherwise scan them in ourselves if an official (and thus nice-looking) image isn't ever posted. Is there a better way to get this stuff for the wiki? Particularly for 2.0 this seems like the time to ask, since we have the ability to start fresh. A source of pilot and upgrade card images would help keep the wiki looking nice (scanned images are always ugly). And any other resources would be welcome too, like maneuver charts or good links to give to players for learning more about the game; we'll be sure to put them to good use. At the wiki we like to help answer questions, provide info, and make the game look good. Anything we can do to improve that image and answer questions better is fantastic! 4) For players who are new to the game (haven't played 1st edition, or did so only briefly), which faction is best to point them to in terms of ease of use? Diversity of tactics? Or are they about equal? Have the factions' styles changed much in 2.0? 5) For players converting over, will there be a list of changed rules etc posted? (in other words, a quick checklist to go over as they're re-learning the game). If not we'll be producing something on the wiki anyway, but if there's an official source coming we're happy starting with that. 6) For players converting over, is the new core set necessary or just the conversion kits? (I'm seeing conflicting stories, but looks like at a minimum you need a damage deck from the core, so converting players should buy it) Thanks, FFG! 1 Parakitor reacted to this

FFG's twich stream yesterday had several 2.0 games played on stream with players vs a developer (alex and frank rotated). During the games, whichever of the two wsan't playing was commentating and they answered a lot of questions throughout. I believ all 3 are available on FFG's twitch channel still.
