Soakman 987 Posted April 14, 2018 (edited) I want an opinion about a situation that as far as I know does not exist in the game currently, but DOES affect one of my custom investigators. This may occur in some currently existing combo of cards, but I can't think of one. Based on the RAW, I want your opinions. If an asset has an activated ability that takes an action but does not exhaust (say using shriveling to fight), but something has caused the card to exhausted anyway, can you still activate the ability on it? I personally think the answer would be yes as the card does not require you to exhaust it to use, the cost is the action. As far as I can tell, exhaustion has no innate effect other than not being able to exhaust the card for a 2nd time. Is this accurate as far as you can tell? Thanks! Jobu 720 Posted April 15, 2018 You are right. Its extremely common as it happens all the time with Pete as his sig weakness causes all his cards to exhaust. 2 Ompakim and Soakman reacted to this

I haven't used Pete much, that's good to know then! I guess this is resolved.
