6 loth cats and 3 deathtroopers? I hope that isn't likely.

I think it is likely we will see 4 loth cats and 4 death troopers (allows for 1 elite and 3 regular). That said it is entirely possible we will only get 3 death troopers, because 1 elite and 2 regulars are exactly half of the maximum allowed.

Well there are six wing guard in bespin gambit so that is a possibility as well. Six death troopers could be possible.

The Six Wing Guards were because it was a deployment group of 3 to a card.

Because there are 2 loth cats to a deployment, it seems more likely that there will be 4 total in the box (like Heavies & Tuskens)

I'd be surprised if we get 6 death troopers, but seeing as their deployment mechanic is completely new to us it could be possible. I still think we'll see 4 of each...

I'm not putting my hopes up for more than 3. Has there ever been a deployment that was released with more than 2 regular cards and 1 elite card? These are the campaign restrictions. There would have to be 4 cards in the box if we get 4 figures...

There would have to be 4 campaign and 4 skirmish deployment cards for Death Trooper groups if we get 4 figures. ;)

The distribution between regular and elite is the interesting question. In the campaign, taking a regular Death Trooper allows you to take others to open groups "for free" (any combination of regular or elite), but two elites would take two open group slots (because they replace Full Detachment with Squad Captain). Choosing one regular and two elites to open groups would still make sense because you are not losing anything, just gaining the regular card (and still spending only one open group slot).

So, 2 regulars and 2 elite would make sense, maybe more than 3 regulars and 1 elite. It would be the first though. I think we have only had one elite deployment card of each group so far.

Can't say which distribution would be better for skirmish, but often "regulars for campaign, elites for skirmish" holds.

They've never given a different amount of cards for campaign and skirmish as far as I'm aware so I doubt they would do that here. Especially since skirmish where people are buying multiple boxes it would be a huge slap in the face if campaign got extra deployment cards but skirmish didn't.

Meanwhile I'm going to keep hoping for 4 with 2 regulars and 2 elites.

I'd be very surprised if we got more than three deathtroopers.  Despite their card text shenanigans they're still a single-figure deployment group.  In both cases where we've seen this in the past, clawdites and ugnaughts, we've had one elite and two regular cards.  (And yes I realize that there was a fourth clawdite figure in the box, but that seemed to be like an oversight based on the previously advertised figure count)

Also, look at the ability on the regular death trooper card (choose any number of deathtroopers and deploy them as a single open group).  We've never had the ability to deploy more than three figures in a group up until now, so it would also make sense to me that these guys be limited to three when they deploy as well (which is what you'd get as an upper limit if the campaign came with one elite and two regular cards).

Obviously neither of these things guarantees that it will only be three, but it seems most likely to me.  If you're expecting four or six I feel like you might be setting yourself up for disappointment.

Not deploy as one group, you can include them into open groups as one group - i.e. multiple cards take only one open group slot. They still deploy as separate groups. (Emphasized by "During setup,".)

And regardless, one Death Trooper may activate as one two-figure group  (with another Death Trooper or leader of cost 6 or less) and no more. (Tactical Comms has Limit once per round.)

It will still provide tactical benefits to have more than two Death Troopers on the map to dynamically decide which one of them gives your Leader an activation.

For whatever reason I didn't read it that way, but you are correct.  In my head I was thinking in terms of the optional deployment that you get when the rebels bring an ally.

Thanks to google translate;

2 Hero figures, 4 Lothal Cat figures, 4 Soldier of Death figures, 24 Deployment cards (assume 6-8 Death Trooper, 2 Loth cat, 2 Heroes, 7 Rebels, 4 Thrawn & Hondo... so 1-3 unknown???), 6 Secret Plan cards (Agenda?), 6 Secondary Mission cards (Side Mission?), 6 Reward cards, 2 Supply cards, 6 letters of Object (Items), 2 Skirmish Mission cards, 18 Hero Class cards, 2 Hero sheets, 9 Imperial Class cards, 5 Command cards, 4 State cards (Conditions?), 14 board pieces, 5 State tokens, 2 tokens Style (wow! Only 2?!?), 6 Ally and Villain tokens, 24 Power tokens, 8 Identification tokens, 24 identification stickers, 1 regulation and 1 skirmish board sheet. (What are these?)

on reflection it’s hard to ascertain the deployment cards due to skirmish and campaign versions. No idea how the Skirmish version of Deathtroopers will operate, so for now allow at least 2-4 of them. Means potentially only 1-3 Skirmish fixes at most...

so 5 unknown??? fixes for everyone?!?)

You only reserved 4 cards for Death Troopers. There are campaign and skirmish versions. Just 4 would mean one regular and one elite card for campaign and other 2 for skirmish. (For 4 figures we should get 4 for campaign and probably 4 for skirmish.)

And we already know there will be 2 cards for Hondo and 2 for Thrawn (campaign and skirmish version).

Yeah, I realised afterwards.

depending on how the Deathtroopers function in Skirmish (single unit deployment cards or not) we could see as many as 2-4 deployment cards for the Skirmish Versions.

with that in mind (and having already allowed for the Hondo and Thrawn Skirmish versions) I think we can estimate 1-3 unknown deployment cards.

so, potentially there are Skirmish fix(es) in the box. But nothing for certain...

2 regular and 1 elite Loth-Cat deployment card for two Loth-cat figure groups would match the convention from previous boxes.

That’s a good point.

I'm not sure that the Skirmish Versions of Hondo and Thrawn will be in the box. How was it with Blaise in the Bespin Box?

I have two skirmish versions of Agent Blaise, Jabba the Hutt, R2-D2, and Leia Organa, so they came with the boxes.

The extra cards aren't necessarily old character fixes, as they could also be skirmish attachments or upgrades.  Both prospects excite me, though, as I'd love to see some of the unloved older figures on the table and I also love trying to see what figures I can make work with a cool new upgrade.

Given there is a skirmish upgrade in each figure pack, I'd be less happy with a 5th neutral (or non-boosting) upgrade, as opposed to a Boba or Dengar upgrade.

24 deployment cards (campaign and skirmish)

4 Kanan Ezra

3 Sabine Zeb (Zeb has same card for both)

2 Hero (tress and soldier)

2 Thrawn

2 Hondo

3 Lothcat (2 regular, 1 elite)

6 Death trooper (2 regular 1 elite)

2 extras (so a Boba fix is likely, I don't see them giving us 2 regular and 2 elite Death Troopers but not Lothcats especially since we know there are 4 of each there. If Lothcats are totally awesome, then you'd still have to buy 2 sets just to fill out your elites with them.  I think Boba fix is likely just to sell the pack, you want to play the galaxy's most mobile bounty hunter, buy Tyrants of Lothal!

The Hero/Villain packs come with a skirmish upgrade (Doubt, Lie in Ambush, Heavy Armor, etc)

only 5 command cards - I'm guessing a Trooper and Brawler card, in addition to the Heroes command card and Pack Alpha.

I'm really hoping for a Boba Fett fix here too, but right now my math says:
8 Death Troopers + 3 Loth Cats + 2 Rebel heroes + 7 Rebel allies + 4 villains = 24 deployment cards

I have suggested that the skirmish cards for the Death Troopers might make them multifigure groups, in which case there might only be 7 Death Trooper deployment cards (4 campaign, 3 skirmish -- 2 regular, 1 elite). That could leave us one leftover card, which could be the Fett fix; but the odds don't seem good.

I am glad we'll see 4 Death Troopers, at least! That was my expectation, but I'm happy to see it semi-confirmed.

@sionnach19 Unfortunately I think your breakdown is the most likely scenario, now that it's been confirmed that there are four troopers in the pack.  Like you said we don't know exactly how deathtroopers will work in skirmish, but just in general it would be weird to include four figures and three cards (*cough*clawdites*cough*).

On the bright side, with the Jawa/IG88 there's also a precedent for a fix coming with a villain pack (albeit one that wasn't released beside a wave).  There's always a chance that we could get Fett's card packaged with Hondo or whatever.
