ShibaOfPhoenix 0 Posted April 7, 2018 (edited) dose using grasp of earth’s ability prevent Yogo Kikuyo from being able to use her ability as her ability has a cost of putting her into play? Because honestly I seem to have a hard time figuring out any use for grasp of earth except for hard Counter unicorn. AradonTemplar 343 Posted April 8, 2018 Eh, I'm not a rules lawyer. I could be wrong. But I was pretty sure that Grasp prevented characters from joining the conflict in any manner, and that would include playing from hand (or putting into play from hand). I can see that it prohibits moving to and playing, but perhaps there's room for 'being put into play' since charging a character doesn't trigger Ide Trader, and this is much the same effect. Grasp of Earth stops characters being played from hand (but not put into play from hand), and stops characters moving in. Unfortunately, your list of things 'countered' by Grasp is wrong. AradonTemplar 343 Posted April 8, 2018 Yeah, that was a pretty bad post. I'm just gonna edit it out so nobody gets some misinformation. Shows me not to always look up the card before posting.
