Aces 11 plus Double Edge?

I'm thinking of giving this a go. Not sure if I would be able to achieve an Alpha strike with double edge though? Get a target lock, fire Cruise, then if miss spend target lock to fire Concussion?

If Double Edge isn't a good fit, then to swap I have Tie Bomber (from Vets pack), Defenders, Tie Punisher, 3 Tie Fighters or Interceptor. Any advice is grateful. Oh, and a Phantom!

The aggressor with missiles is probably less effective than with either a TLT or Ion turret, but that really only matters if you're trying to be super competitive or take this list to a tournament. Double Edge probably won't have a target lock for the opening volley, being so low in PS. If you could drop a point somewhere to fit Deadeye, that would either give you a shot with a missile or require your opponents ship with HSCP to waste a shot at him instead of your aces. With only 25 points for your third ship, there's some clear winners depending on what you want to do. A sienar specialist aggressor with LWF and TLT is pretty consistent and gets a lot of pokes in if left alone. You could run a punisher with either LWF and UGR or Traj Sim and Bomblets. Bit meatier there, draws fire and is a great blocker with boost. Damage isn't as great as the TLT aggressor, but the bomblet build is great at dissuading a joust and gives you time for your aces to get around your opponent. Base tie fighters are pretty underwhelming, as are interceptors right now, and defenders won't fit in your list, so that's about your best options. You could absolutely fit a bomber for 25 points as either a crew carrier or ordnance, but I think you'll find that it has the same problems as double edge would and will in all likelihood be scooped off the board before they get a missile off.

I was thinking of dropping sensor cluster to free up points, then maybe TLT and something? Might look into the punisher though, as that with bomblets and traj sim might throw some surprises my mates way

Maybe go deadeye and another cruise.

My favorite Double Edge is:

Total: 29

You would have to lose the cruise on quickdraw.

Another option is deathfire. He is soooo good for his points. Your opponent HAS to go for him first or the damage he does is crazy.

If you dont have conners, can sub cluster mines or proxy mines to save a point.
