HanScottFirst 349 Posted April 6, 2018 They are about the same number of points, so which one would you take once Veers is released? A fully loaded AT-ST is about 250, and Darth seems to come in around 230 (maybe like these buildouts https://tabletopadmiral.com/legion/). Vader seems better handled to take on Luke (immune to pierce, etc.), but the AT-ST can just lay so much fire down and has the mortar to get suppression out early, etc. Luke with pierce and impact seems like he could eat up the AT-ST. Not sure. What are your thoughts?

Budget ATST (only 1 extra weapon, no Weiss), but also 2 speeder units and 5 core units (3x Stormtroopers w/DTL19, 2x Snowtrooper's w/extra trooper - if it is base 40 pts and +10 for trooper). Those core commanders are super crucial for objectives, so I like the vehicle support, but having 5 core units as well.
AintNoPoser 117 Posted April 8, 2018 Drop commanding presence and give a speeder a com link. If you play it right, should have Veers next to your AT-ST.
