nungunz 221 Posted April 6, 2018 ....just use Leia. Seriously, though due to not being able to freely refresh Force Powers I have started dropping all upgrades on Luke and haven’t had any problems so far. At speed 2 with Charge keep him out of LOS or in cover and and use him as a panic battery and area denial tool and let the troops do the heavy lifting. Will be replacing with Leia when she is released. Rettere 247 Posted April 6, 2018 Very similar to my list but I only have 5 rebel trooper squads so one the the Gatling squads is a Gatling ATRT instead. I also drop one of the ion guns to fit in a bunch of grenades and battle meditation. i Thought battle meditation wasn’t worth it, then I played a game with disarray and changed my mind! But all of the other powers on Luke are less ideal, I agree. Saber throw is straight up worthless compared to Luke’s blaster, and force reflexes are redundant with two of your command cards. I haven’t tried force push on luke.
Qark 268 Posted April 6, 2018 I quite like battle meditation and reflexes on luke. Battle mediation doesn't exhaust and the reflexes are just there to keep luke alive one extra turn so they don't need to be refreshed. Yeah there is some overlap with command cards but I normally use reflexes on the same turn I use Luke's 1 pip card that doesn't give him a dodge token. Qark 268 Posted April 6, 2018 As for your list I am still not sold on the ion troopers, let me know how they go!
Rettere 247 Posted April 7, 2018 I’m pretty happy with the ion troopers. They aren’t going to kill an atst but denying it an aim token, attack, or reposition is really awesome. And if you can double ion then you are really living the dream. They are also awesome against speeder bikes which really want an aim token or a reposition as well.
