But seriously,

Page 2 of the PDF

"Tis document is the defnitive source for all STAR WARS: LEGION rules."

"Te majority of this Rules Reference is the glossary, which provides players with detailed game rules and clarifcations listed in alphabetical order by topic"

"Tis reference contains eight sections:

CARD ANATOMY PAGE 4 Tis section provides an illustrated breakdown of each type of card in the game. ARMY BUILDING PAGE 5 Tis section describes how players can assemble an army from their units and upgrades to play a standard game. SETUP PAGE 6 Tis section details each step performed when setting up a standard game of  STAR WARS: LEGION. ADDITIONAL TERRAIN RULES PAGE 8 Tis section describes many of the common types of wargaming terrain and provides rules for using them in games. VERTICAL MOVEMENT PAGE 10 Tis section provides rules that allow miniatures to scale sheer surfaces. GLOSSARY PAGE 11 Te majority of this reference is the glossary. This lists detailed rules and clarifications alphabetized by topic. OPTIONAL RULES PAGE 47 Tis section describes how to play a larger game and how to play a game with unlimited rounds. INDEX PAGE 2 This section provides a comprehensive list of topics and the locations to find them in this reference."

Each player secretly selects a command card from their hand and places it facedown on the table. Ten, both players simultaneously reveal their cards.

Te player whose card has the fewest number of pips has priority.

Starting with the player who has priority, each player nominates a friendly commander and issues orders with that commander. Te number of orders to be issued is indicated on the orders section of the chosen command card.

Te player either chooses a unit with a faceup order token or draws a random order token from their order pool and chooses a unit with a matching rank that does not have an order token.

Te player activates the chosen unit, performing up to two actions and any number of free actions with that unit.

Te player places the unit’s order token facedown on the battlefield near the unit leader.

Te player who has the round counter sets it so the next highest number is displayed. Ten, that player passes the round counter to their opponent.

This is just whats on the first real page of the PDF. Hs and Is going missing everywhere.

I see the errors, but when I copy/paste the words are correct. It's a PDF thing. I had it open in my browser and had no issues. I downloaded it an opened it with Edge and now there are mistakes.

Stop using Microsoft Edge. It isn't displaying the PDF properly.

In case you're curious, the problem is a rendering glitch related to "ligatures". If you open the pdf in Acrobat and look closely, you should see that all instances of "Th" (note the capital T) are actually replaced with a single special character where the "T" runs into the "h". Apparently Edge has problems with ligatures. "Th" and "fi" are a couple very common ligatures.

Fun fact of the day :)
