Sadly, you're allowed to edit posts only for some minutes after you post them. No way you can do anything thereafter. Technically, it should be possible to edit the opening message of every thread, but 99% of times this does not work either. Sorry dude…

No worries, I actually figured out a way to edit old posts, so I was finally able to upload my picture gallery for the thread.

Can you share this vital strategy? Many had similar issues over the past!

Keep in mind that what I'm about to share only works on your own posts (duh).

1) Find the post you want to edit.  Right click on the "Quote" icon and select "Copy Link Location".  This will give you a long url.  For example, when used on this post you get this:

http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_responder.asp?efid=113&efcid=1&efidt=23177&efidc=760337'>http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_responder.asp?efid=113&efcid=1&efidt=23177&efidc=760337

2) There are two changes you need to make before going to the above address.  Find the word "responder" and change it to "editar".  Additionally, take the very last "c" in the address and change it to a "m".  The result should look like this:

http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_editar.asp?efid=113&efcid=1&efidt=23177&efidm=760337

3) Enter it into your web browser and everything should work out.  For example, the post I made yesterday in this thread should now have a smiley face at the end of it.

I've also confirmed that this trick does work for Topic Posts as well, but you won't be able to change the name of the thread from that edit screen.

However, any post you edit in this fashion will be treated much like a brand new post, so you'll have access to the long lost "Edit" button on those posts.

Anyways, I'm probably just gonna move all my content into my new thread from now on, but I'll still come here to help with critique and all that.

It feels weird responding to the investigator thread now that I have a seperate thread, but whatever.

I kinda feel that this Sherlock doesn't have any actual weaknesses.  He has a free spendable clue token every turn, which given that it's an ability only attached to Granny Orne and Mythos Lore is definitely powerful, and he possesses a Lore of 6 with an assembly of 4 tracks.  This is mostly balanced by the fact that he's down to a single focus, but Watson's focus bonus plus the skill slider movement available once per turn turns the only possibly detriment into a "better than most" benefit.  I don't think he's broken, but he seems really freakishly safe.

Hey, thanks. Personally I find his arrangement of traits thematic. And you said so yourself- he's not broken. Sure, tier 1, but not tier 0 (a tier I just made up for broken investigators such as Daisy, Patrice, Wendy and Rex).

I think the traitor mechanic might not be very balanced. I mean, you can screw with the other players pretty well if you'd like. For example, you can close gates on unstable locations before others have the chance to seal them; you can avoid helping with rumors; if you have an elder sign you can simply never use it; in the final battle to can set your fight to the lowest and not use any weapons or spells, etc.

It seems redundant to give him "Joining the Winning Team" since he already has the most important clause of that ability on his character to begin with.  Also, a "professor"-like figure should probably have more sanity than stamina, or at least even.

Instead of Ingenious, why not give him an ability to provide support to other investigators (much in the same way Patrice Hathaway and Mandy Thompson do), and simply "choose" not to give it to your fellow investigators at crucial times.  You might lose a few friends in the process though, and for the record I've seen this sort of thing happen and I can guarantee nobody enjoys it or the game (except for maybe the perpetrator) and more often than not everybody quits early.

Regarding Sanity/Stamina I wanted him to be the opposite of Sherlock Holmes. Anyway I only did it for fun, I know it's a bad idea gameplay-wise and I doubt anything can be done to fix it. Also, most players hate JTWT so they would hate him too.

Nox is a weird investigator.  She actually excels when the board is cluttered with monsters, which is to say most investigators do not.  On the other hand, she's incredibly crippled if no monsters show up for a good number of turns.  The dynamics you've created where this character kind of "needs" monsters to survive is incrdibly fitting with the vampire design.  I actually really applaud the choice to make the monster comsumption ability only triggerable when you are first claiming the monster trophy, creating that bridge of moral choice for the regrettful vampire.

So, overall, excellent design that works both on a mechanical level and a character level.

The only thing that strikes me a little weird is her Lore track.  Generally speaking, most vampires are portrayed in a more intellegent light.  Since I don't know anything about Nox, I couldn't say whether this is fitting or not but having a Lore of 3 tends to imply an oblivious nature.

Well, this here is my first attempt at making these on my own--these were made for me and my brother, so it played strongly off of our interests and the like, though I think I managed to do a pretty good job over-all.

But I suppose that's for everyone else to decide too, huh? ^^;

A couple small things:

Markup Mishaps: Remove the Dark Pharaoh marker from the Charmander and Charizard sheets.  I know you didn't intend it, but Strange Eons 3 does this thing where it assigns that symbol when creating a new investigator only if that investigator starts out as a woman (even if you switch it to male).  I guess since the "Favored by Bast" ability on the female investigator template only interacts with Exhibit Items, it adds that symbol automatically.  Also, you don't need to include the reminder text for Charmeleon's/Charizard's starting location.

Pokedex Inquiry: When you go from Charmander to Charmeleon, do you gain an extra skill?  Is that why there's 1 skill under Charmeleon's random possessions and not under Charizard's, or was that just a money issue?

Just for Fun: It might be a nice touch to restore the pokemon's sanity and stamina to full each time it evolves.
