Orientalist 0 Posted March 13, 2010 Hello all,I am sorry that I have to open a new topic to only ask one question but I could not find the answer anywhere.Talisman: The Dungeon - when you land on the Guard, it says you can either bribe him with 2 Gold or you can try fight him. Well, I could not pay him the 2 Gold so I've tried going Barbarian on him. I've failed. He took me one life, as usual. Now, on my next turn am I allowed to move forward or do I have to fight the Guard once again? It seems reasonable to fight him again since you neither paid his Gold nor defeated him in fight. Thank you!
Dam the Man 84 Posted March 13, 2010 You move normally next turn. Guard is satisfied with kicking your butt, too busy celebrating the victory by boozing . It is no different than encountering a Dragon, losing a battle, next turn, it doesn't care about you anymore, you can move away.
Orientalist 0 Posted March 13, 2010 Ahahahahahahaha, priceless, Dam, thank you! I've just got the Dungeon expansion, so I am still figuring the little things out.Another little thing are the Adventure Cards. I am confused. When I am supposed to draw one of the 10 Adventure Cards? Why I am not adding them to the Dungeon Cards deck? Hmm, I know the answer must be easy but it eludes me completely. Dam the Man 84 Posted March 13, 2010 They are meant to be mixed in to the normal Adventure deck (same card back, though different sizes, at least for me; sleeving solved those issues). They are there to give you access to the Dungeon (Dungeon Entrance, Trap Door) while on the main board or draw Dungeon cards while not in the Dungeon (Dark Denizens).
