Auroc 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Hi there, anyone that is capable of explaining the new interface for the tournament results, please do so. I understand that I have to name my players. But I can only guess what is meant by "Location", "Information", "Sos" and "Rating". Don't we register our participants nowadays? The lack of an official introduction for our new tournament solution leaves much to desire.
aslum 0 Posted December 15, 2008 For Location I've been putting our Venue... (actually I've just been putting the abbreviation for our venue). For Information I've been listing the character that was played. SOS = Strength of Schedule Rating = Final Score You should get both of those from the tourney magistrate software. To find the software (keep in mind it's a java program) click catalog > ccg> ufs > support.
retched 0 Posted December 15, 2008 SOS = Strength of Schedule. Add up the total points all of a player's opponents earned throughout the tournament Rating = Final amount of swiss points. 3 Points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss. When entering the results, make sure that you enter them in the order of the final standing.
Auroc 0 Posted December 15, 2008 Ah, thank you both. I am finally able to report our events. Maybe I'll give this "magistrate" a try. For now I'll keep my pen&paper.

If you want to give round by round specifics I could possibly make an attempt at figuring out what went on. Otherwise email it to Paul.

The link to download the tournament manager software is located here: http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/UFS/Support/tm.jar If you're using IE, right click on the link, and save the file, then launch it. ***Please note*** You will need to have the java runtime environment installed on your system to be able to use the software. http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp Please note, if you have already installed Java, but do not have the latest release (Ver. 6.11) you may wish to upgrade your Java. I've recently upgraded to 6.11 and have noticed a marked improvement in the softwares operation.
