duck_bird 843 Posted March 12, 2018 I love DCO but man is it finicky. In my practice games for regionals I got whooped on by a lot of APT spam lists. So I brought DCO in my final list. Then I played 4 people without a single unique crit effect. Agreed on not bidding too much. The list I ran there I'd been running about a 10-15pt bid in previous versions. But then if someone wants to go first more than you do, they'll bid more, and there were improvements I could make using those points. Last weekend in Stirling I had a 4pt bid and got 1st player on all 3 games (can't recall if that was my choice, or if anyone had given me 1st at any point). If there's nothing left to cut from the list and the objectives are fine for you then I'd normally rather get all the upgrades I want into the list and deal with first or second player once it happens.
