Could I potentially use his ability each time he participates in a conflict or only once? Thanks in advance

All triggered abilities are once per round unless otherwise specified so probably only once (I haven't memorized what this card says).

So, yeah: once per round.

Keep in mind that his action ability can only be used only once per round, but Covert can be used again if you somehow manage to get him ready and declare him as attacker in a second conflict.

This is incorrect, Covert, Pride, and other abilities can trigger multiple times as they are not triggered action abilities.

Interpretation on my part:
Covert, Pride, and others like it: Don't have the Timing Command thing before them. So they aren't Triggered abilities. So they don't have the single triggering rule.
