It's not for everyone, but a subscription with team covenant will guarantee that you will get the book on release, and it may even be cheaper than through FFG due to the weird shipping costs. Yeah, I signed up for that but maybe I was a day late for that as it always showed the Deep Gate as my next item. I will see how it goes next cycle. Luckily my copy of To Fight the Black Wind is already in the mail.

I'm not sure if I'm going to receive the Deep Gate or not because I don't know if they billed for it or not yet. I could take or leave Silas. I'm not planning on getting every novella and I've always been kinda 'meh' about him. His mechanics look interesting, but I can't get into his story. Deep ones/fishing/Innsmouth has never been something I've gravitated toward.
xuzuthor 10 Posted April 6, 2018 I bought the first at Arkham Nights, and bought the 3rd while visiting family during the Easter weekend. Since I missed the 2nd (Ire of the Void), I decided (with my parents' consent) to pre-order through FFG and have my parents pick them up for me as they come out since they live in the area. Since they sell out so quickly, I wanted to be sure to get the rest. So, for now, I'll just be missing Norman. I'm glad the 3rd was still there since I play Roland quite a bit and it will be nice to use the more forgiving weakness....though as soon as the new set comes out, I plan to try out Leo. Will be fun to see which I prefer playing. (in 2-player games) 1 Soakman reacted to this
Somatose Boy 28 Posted April 6, 2018 My store ordered the Roland book but has never received it (or Black Stars Rise for that matter), I had to break down and buy them online, even though I really prefer to support my local store.
Frigof 1 Posted April 14, 2018 I have absolutely no issue with the pricing or bundling. But these books are not distributed in my country and the investigator cards will never be localized... Paying 15$ for a meh book and the cards sounds okay. When you add the insane shipping cost, its less attractive. 1 Soakman reacted to this
