kempokid 868 Posted February 17, 2018 (edited) This is pretty simple. Lots of health to tear through. Lots of firing range. The Ghost is the clear threat here, even without the Shuttle, but I think the Wookiee can do decent damage with the commandos. MrAndersson 219 Posted February 18, 2018 Why would you need Accuracy Corrector when you have got both Ezra and Maul?
theBitterFig 8,373 Posted February 18, 2018 (edited) I don't get it. If you're investing in Accuracy Corrector, why also put 6 points into Maul/Ezra? I guess another word for redundancy is consistency, and the attack dice will surely be consistent, but it seems like a massive over-investment in getting offensive mods in a way which doesn't stack. There are ways to achieve similar offensive results, while diversifying the threat posed by the VCX. Personally, I'd equip the Lothal Rebel in one of two ways: * Accuracy Corrector, TLT, Engine Upgrade (2 points free... Rey? Tactician?) * TLT, Ezra/Maul, (Reinforced Deflectors or Advanced Sensors). With Engines and Rey or Tactician, you'll be able to move quick, as well as have really consistent dice. Rey can stack a few focus early, as a hedge for big primary weapon attacks, when maybe you take a TL. However, you gain a huge amount of mobility over Maul/Ezra. Tactician is almost always a reasonable crew, and you'll have a chance to trigger it from the rear arc with a pair of TLT shots (one trigger, but there's higher arc coverage than normal). If keeping Maul/Ezra, Accuracy Corrector doesn't add much. It takes away the about 9% chance of getting 0 or 1 hits, but that's a lot to ask for 3 points. Getting Reinforced Deflectors can easily add a few more shields to your VCX over the course of a game. A 19 or 20 HP ship is better than a 16 HP one. Alternately, Advanced Sensors would allow you to evade before moving, so you'd be resistant to blocks, flying over asteroids, or taking red moves. The basic archetype of a pair of Auzitucks and a self-sufficient VCX seems like it could be fine. I just think doubling-down on AccC and Maul/Ezra is a mistake. *Ninja'd!* Edited February 18, 2018 by theBitterFig

Against High Agility ships it’s not worth picking up the stress if you’re not sure it’ll land. Maul and Ezra is for the primary guns.
