Warriors rejoice

I will say that I would have preferred to see the force rating in Juyo, but overall the specs are really good.

And, in terms of being scary, the left side of the aAgressor tree and Juyo synergize extremely well.

You end up with Fearsome-3, Intimidating-4, Terrify and Improved Terrify.

Draws and ignites lightsaber: "Say HELLO to my LITTLE FRIEND!"

I just noticed that Embrace Your Hate is not a Force talent. That's a little weird to me that it's a Conflict talent but not a Force Talent. In fact, looking at it, most of Juyo Berserker is non-Force Talents, making this a terrifying option for all those Marauders that have been itching for a spec to make them even better at chopping up opponents!

So an eote marauder with obligation instead of morality takes juyo berseker and goes hog wild without falling to the darkside because they don't have a morality score period ?

The GM should give him a morality score via GM fiat.

Morality is pretty irrelevant to most eote campaigns.

Edit:

The same can be said of legality in eote games.

You still need to see if he goes dark side assuming at least one force point. If just  for the mechanical advantages if need thing else.

If no force the toon would get stuck on juyo’s spiral.

What talent specifically you looking to capitalize on?

I would think force adherent or infiltrator would be better for non force using melees.

I'm not looking to capitalize on it, it's unlikely that I will ever take juyo berseker for any character... it's just an idle conversation that I didn't start.

Without hitting a single Force Talent, you have:

Toughened, Parry 2, Grit, Intimidating 2, Lethal Blows 2, Embrace Your Hate 2, Quick Strike 2, Multiple Opponents, and Dedication

That's 14 talents, and you could technically pick up Inner Peace too if you really want it (I wouldn't).

Like I said, Juyo has very few Force-dependent talents and they are all fairly deep in the tree. Juyo can even be taken as a surprisingly effective combat tree for a droid.

Thanks for answering, that's s fairly good mix, Steel Hands Adept , you can buy as a Martial Artist/ marauder /Enforcer / Infiltrator / Commando, every force talent is on a dead end, you do not need to buy one of them to get to another(edit for typo - non) force talent, which is quite handy, (4 ranks of dodge with infiltrator for example)

For that matter, Colossus only has two Force talents (the 20 & 25 point ones on the right-most column), so anybody that just wants to be a tough guy/girl/thing can benefit greatly from that one even without a Force Rating 1.

It should be noted that the section in the F&D core book about combining the three systems mechanics does cover this under the “combining Morality with Duty or Obligation”.

The advice essentially boils down to... do what's most appropriate in terms of combining or not... and in the case of a not force sensitive marauder in an eote game who takes some talents from the juyo berseker tree, what's most appropriate is to NOT add a morality score.

If he’s not a Force sensitive, that would be correct. Of course, that also means that the Conflict talents (which have all been Force talents to date) would be unusable for him anyway.

Until now. If you've been following along, you'll note that Embrace Your Hate is not a Force talent (but it is a Conflict talent).

Who needs Reflect anyway go Juyo Colossus Amourer and Shii Cho and you have a juggernaut that needs breach to take down, add cotorsis and you'll be unstoppable.

Still a fun talent to have though. On the other hand, when you're expanding from Soresu or Shien it isn't really a problem. The theme of Juyo/Vaapad has traditionally been controlled aggression, but aggression nonetheless - it makes sense it focuses on killiness, not defence.
