reegsk 742 Posted February 5, 2018 So it really only matters if you’re pushing squads with Rogue, because everything else is at least Speed 4.

Ardaedhel 10,844 Posted February 6, 2018 It's a good thing FFG foresaw the danger of my Speed-5 Lambdas and put the kibosh right on that. 1 Undeadguy reacted to this

BlueFalcon251 30 Posted February 12, 2018 Sooooo...Vector plus All Fighters Follow Me! plus Admiral Chiraneau means I can move engaged fighters up to speed four, heavy ones up to three? Nice.
Drasnighta 26,832 Posted February 12, 2018 Correct. As long as Chiraneau is on Vector. However, it can even be done through a relay.
BlueFalcon251 30 Posted February 12, 2018 Ahh, Relay. There seems to be a conspiracy to nerf the heck out of Imperial fleets. Demo, lifeboats, and now people want to touch Relay!!!? Leave it alone (please). Relay is the only real advantage Imperial fighters have. Rebel fighters are superior so Imperials must use numbers, thus the Relay 2. How many Imperial fleets have dominated the World Championships, or any other meaningful tournaments, especially using fighters (only one Imp fleet in 3 Worlds Championships)? Anyway, I'm testing a Vector with Chiraneau and a Cymoon AFFM (but may work better with Kuat/Chimera to switch Fleet Commands*) with a 1st player bid to double-tap Mauler and I will try Boba Fett as well. I use Chiraneau and Shuttles to great effect for objective token manipulation. *That reminds me, AFFM is a five point upgrade so I'm assuming that if I had a 400 point fleet and used Chimera to switch Fleet Commands that it would not be legal? AFFM and EF are five points but IF and StM are six points.
Drasnighta 26,832 Posted February 12, 2018 There's no legality check after setup. So its legal to swap out for something more expensive. How many points you are left at the end of the game if that ship is destroyed, is another matter that will need to be FAQd, and is the subject of other, Multiple discussions on the forums (which I will not go into further here, because of it)
