Losing the "Druid Staff".

If you lose the "Druid Staff" you return to your starting alignment or you stay as your last call?

IIRC, the alignment you have while in possession of the DS is tied to the DS. So when you lose it, you revert back to whatever alignment you had before you started swapping it with DS (only really matters if you've been to the Village or encountered Mephistopheles, otherwise back to starting align).

Are you sure about this? I've always played that Druid Staff's alignment changes are permanent (stay after you lose the Staff).

Plenty of Druid Staff discussion. Namely, that you place the alignment card on the DS (not on the character), thus it seems alignment is tied to the DS.

It is permanent..

But Elliot (talismansilat) came with a idea that you are automatic Neutral when you pick up the druid staff.

This is not the way how it should be played.

Just write it on a piece of paper if your character changed to Neutral ( if it is not his starting alignment)

 

I hope that Neutral alignment cards will come in the future !
