GrandAdmiralCrunch 2,255 Posted January 11, 2018 He does an amazing job with ship models. I don’t always like the changes he makes to older ships, but they are always very detailed and crisp. 3 toyoda, martok2112 and Noosh reacted to this

I can understand some of your dislike with the changes, but speaking as a very amateur CG model maker myself, I think we all (regardless of skill) kinda take some artistic license of a sort when we build models, especially ones as complex and detailed as Imperial Star Destroyer. Primary likely reason: We don't always have access to really good photos of the practical models themselves. That is something I would love to have, and have Googled till my eyeballs pop out to try and find some HQ photos of the original models. A lot of times, speaking strictly for myself, the best I can do is photograph my own miniatures, use the best possible screencaps from the films, extrapolate from there, roll the dice, dance the Watusi, mutter a prayer in Pig Latin and hope for the best. 2 1 toyoda, DrakonLord and GrandAdmiralCrunch reacted to this
