She let me spam navigate on the MC80 so that I could react to my more maneuverable opponent, but switch it to CF when I didn't need it. I have been moving away from Ahsoka more lately though. And I'll probably drop the Comms Net also; I often use it only once anyway, and I haven't felt a great need for tokens on the MC80. Have you tried Raymus so you can nav every other turn and always have the option to engine tech if you want? He can switch up to CF early or boosted eng later on. Then you dont need any aids 1 minute ago, stonestokes said: Fire Lanes: Are you saying that my opponent might be able to come steal the tokens before I have a chance to move them back? That's the only way I can see that I wouldn't be able to get them turn 1. Do you have a better suggestion for a Yellow objective? Yes, without Fighter Coord Teams it is almost impossible to move the tokens turn 1, which is why most pure strategic lists have them.
stonestokes 737 Posted January 5, 2018 @Ginkapo, I don't understand. I place the objective tokens just outside of distance 4 of my edge. My opponent moves them straight toward his edge to within distance 1-2 of their original position. That means that they are just outside of distance 6 of my edge. If I place a Transport at the front of my deployment zone and I place my VCX's to just within distance 2 of the Transport, then my VCX's are just within distance 5 of my edge. They can pretty much move the tokens from where they are at. Moreover, even if I don't move them, I merely need to have my guns trained on them. I am missing something here. Try it and see if you get lucky on the marginal movement errors.... Distance 1 is larger than the rest, so the tokens end up perfectly in the middle and they are first player, not you. It will be easiest either way. 1 stonestokes reacted to this
tattooednick 0 Posted May 28, 2018 I played with this list today, as I'm fairly new to the game (I've played about 10 games so far I think?) But I have to say, this worked so well! I took Home One over Defiance, but it's really good! I don't know if it was poor planning from my opponent (I think Ginkapo saw the last 5 minutes or so of the game) but Home One managed to slap down Dominator with ease and Warlord followed a turn or two later. One thing I did have problems with was the GR75s. I took Bright Hope AND Quantum Storm, and honestly found the titles next to useless. I proc'd QS once and the time Bright Hope got hit, reducing the damage by 1 would still have meant I was dead. I personally would out Tantive IV on over the GR75 titles, but that's just one fella's opinion.
