Can we all agree to avoid spoiling TLJ?

Recommended Posts

As most people are probably aware, Star Wars: The Last Jedi (TLJ) is in U.S. theaters tonight.  It would be nice if we can all agree to not put any TLJ spoilers in any threads for a while.  Or at the very least, use spoiler tags...

People who post here are generally pretty good about this but I know there is a lot of hype around the movie as well.  I am trying to avoid any sites that have the potential to spoil the movie (I doubt I'm the only one in this boat) and it would be nice if this can be a safe-haven from any TLJ spoilers.

Thanks!

After feeling from watching the movie.

I felt a disturbance in the force. It is like someone took one of the best memories of my childhood, Disneyfied it, and the added a lot of CGI farts around it. ?

I am grateful that I grew up during the times of the original trilogy.

I can agree not to spoil that movie. It doesn't need my help. :angry:

LOL! How do you make the hide contents boxes appear?

Also, ya. There's one scene that made me immediately think of IA.

Switch out all { } for [ ]

{spoiler} blah blah blah (for one paragraph)

or

{spoiler} more blahs {/spoiler} (more multiple spoiler tags)

{spoiler} blahdy blah {/spoiler}

I loved it. There are a LOT of people that will hate it. But it does stuff to the franchise / characters / lore that have me more excited about what's to come than I have been since the Prequels left a bad taste in my mouth. I bet there will be a bunch of people around my age (late 30's) who are going to think the movie is aiming their favorite franchise in a direction they don't want. Considering one of the themes in the movie, this is intentional.

And it's brilliant and I cannot wait to see it again.

It's got some issues, but those are nitpicks and I have no issue with the bigger picture stuff that I assume most people will lament.
