Legacies ETA?

Does anyone know when this is supposed to be released?  I've heard Dec 11, but find it hard to believe it's only 1 week away with the relatively few spoilers we've really gotten from the set.

Yeah, everyone was thinking Dec 14 to go along with the movie. FFG says it is still at the factory. So either they are lying to us or we won't see it until Feb.

If it ends up being Feb, I’m cool with that. My wallet doesn’t need to take any more of a beating this time of year. Lol

Would be nice to get some more spoilers while we wait. 

Have they said if the Rivals is releasing with the Legacy set or will it be separate?

Staggering all the products makes sense to our wallets for sure. Their update page is all we have to go on which isn't much but they are all at the factory right now.

Yeah, feels like EaW was pretty recent and I am not itching for a new set yet (and the billfold would thank me).  Ideally for me, I'd like to see the Rivals set released in early Jan, with Legacies out in early-mid Feb.

Yeah, sadly I'm pretty sure we'll have it in a couple weeks. I'm guessing they're gonna be pretty rigidly set on their (2nd Thursday in December), (May the 4th), (2nd Thursday in September) release schedule for all future cycles.

custom avatars are awesome

(tiny loophole when they redid the forums awhile back we could upload them. They never took it away from the few of us quick enough to upload one)

 

I'm both upset and glad legacies isnt coming out quite yet. Already dumping like 170 on xwing this week....dont need to dump anther 200 on destiny the next week lol

I've been thinking that the Starter sets will get flown out for a December release. Or fly out a very limited release of all the products. I think they flew out the initial SoR release in a limited release.

Yeah, I had just joined when the custom avatars thing happened so I didn't think to snap one up while that was a thing. Too bad.

And only $170? I'm spending nearly that much on just GUNBOATs!

Completely understand how a lot of you feel its too soon for Legacies, but me and my brothers might be the only people that cannot wait for the new set to release. Looking forward to playing with all the new characters.

December is out - sometime in January is most likely based on the article that just came out.

January makes sense, if they want to stick to a schedule as it is 4 months before May and 4 months after September the previous release days.

Pretty sure the date is Dec 14th. Shop I used to play at is running their launch party on Dec 17th as Sunday is their Destiny Day.

Thats the thing, the date is indeed Dec14 but theres no flippin way were getting it that fast if its "at the factory" unless they forgot to update the website to "on the boat"

If they were still on for dec14 we'd see it switch to "Shipping" soon.

While I wouldn't be shocked if it comes out next week I am still thinking beginning of Feb. January is a bad month to release anything.

Also, this set doesn't seem to have a lot to do with the new movie. That two player set may have been what they put out to appease Disney for the last jedi release. It does screw up their schedule though. Maybe they decided for rotation it would be easier to have the new core released at the beginning of each year.

Where are you guys getting this dec 14 date?  I did notice that the article only says boosters so maybe the starters come out this month.m. Really really disappointed this won't be out for Christmas and the new movie
